Rated 100% by by Paul-A.-Schwahn--atlmapas (Feb, 2009)I would not recommend it for travel due to its size and weight, but if you're looking to replace your desktop this is an outstanding choice.
by LaptopMag (Aug, 2011)The massive 18.4-inch, 1920 x 1080-pixel WLED display on the M18x is a sight to behold.

processor
Pavilion dv7 by Nameless-Moniker (Dec, 2011)FAST - i7 Quad-core with hyperthreading, makes the OS think it is using 8 cores.4 GB of Ram which is perfect for most people and HP was nice enough to use 1 4GB chip leaving upgrade space for another chip.
M Series M18x by Thomas (Dec, 2011)The only thing wrong with this computer is the processor, it says its the Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor (Quad-Core, 2.2GHz, 6MB Cache), but its actually the one right below it the Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor (Quad-Core, 2.0GHz, 6MB Cache).
