B Series B570 by Menno-Aartsen--MEA (Jun, 2012)Other than the above, the laptop is far from ugly, but with a 15.6 inch (40 cm) diagonal HD screen it is a bit large.
Aspire S 5749Z by MiaWallace166 (Dec, 2011)The price is good, screen is big and clear and its light weight.
screen resolution
B Series B570 by P.-knight--Speed-expert (Oct, 2011)It's not very high resolution and some folks might consider too low for them, but for me it's fine and the brightness is a huge plus.
Aspire S 5749Z by Tchampmass (Jan, 2012)I knew she wouldn't want a 17" screen (too big to haul around) so I got her the 15.6" screen.

B Series B570 by Menno-Aartsen--MEA (Jun, 2012)I bought this particular laptop because it was cheap (the sale price was $360, after a discount for discontinuation, and I added 4Gb of RAM for another $35, totaling around $410 with tax) and has a fast processor, Intel's i3-2330M dual core processor, which distinguishes itself by its Sandy Bridge architecture, which lets it handle four computing threads at once, although it depends on your operating system and software whether or not that can be used.

B Series B570 by Menno-Aartsen--MEA (Jun, 2012)as of June 2nd, this is probably the best time to get a new laptop - or a spare)(This review was written in May, 2012, for the 1068-ASU type, which has a slightly slower processor and comes with less memory.
