Rated 60% by by Student (Dec, 2010)I loved the size and weight at first but after some use I was worried that it wouldn't hold up for long.

Rated 100% by by Bernadette (Oct, 2012)I can't tell that this is such an inexpensive laptop, since all these programs respond perfectly even though I am probably using the maximum ram.
screen resolution
VAIO Z Series by CSK (Mar, 2011)Operations is quiet, the high-resolution LED-backed screen is superb - but you need to have good eyes, I can imagine others will have a hard time with the super-fine resolution.
Pavilion g6 by What-Matters (Sep, 2011)We've been impressed with the keyboard, screen resolution, weight and "feel.
processor
VAIO Z Series by Mark-J.-Tierney--coastie-1980It's just to much chip to allow for cooling, so the dual core i7 is mainstream, but if you look close, this one has a much faster i7 than many.
Pavilion g6 by dominic27bI purchased this computer from OfficeDepot, and I purchased this one because I knew that a dual core processor would be very powerful, and it was fabulous for the amount of money I would be paying for it.

VAIO Z Series by MuddyAzian (Jan, 2011)This review is for the VPCZ line, and the version I have has the Core i7 M640, and 8 GB RAM.
Pavilion g6 by Brinard-Sweeting (Dec, 2011)Intel Core i3 Processor is insanely fast paired with the amount of RAM that comes with it for indexing large files on the 640GB hard drive.-4GB RAM really increases the boot time in my opinion.
