I prefer HTC phones, i like its build in quality , HTC sence UI which is far better than touchwiz UI. and a global brand.
This is the newest phone with Jelly bean and it comes in a price much lower than other phones with almost the same specifications.
The HTC X would be better since I prefer HTC Sense over Samsung's touchWiz UI.
Furthermore, the HTC X is better than the SIII in almost every category.
I haven't used the one X but I have the SIII. I have had two htc phones (the incredible and the Thunderbolt), the Incredible was a solid phone for its day, but the Thunderbolt gave me too many problems, like random resets and just losing 4g randomly when I knew there was coverage where I was, and don't get me started on its battery. At the end of the day though my SIII is hands down the best phone I have ever owned.
Some of my friends used to own the HTC One X but they all seemed to have stopped working or lost speed within the first few months. And though I only know a couple of people who own the Samsung Galaxy S 3 they say that it was a good find and they wouldn't change it for anything else.
the UI has more features than the One X.
Go to the nearest store and try both out, but you won;t be dissapointed with hte S3.
Although Samsung is more popular, HTC's build quality is next to nothing. The software looks more mature, and is a pretty good with updating it's phones
The Samsung Galaxy S III and the HTC One X both run the same version of the Android Operating System, Ice Cream Sandwich. The main difference you are going to see is the custom UI that the different companies lay over top of the Android OS, this will give the phones a slightly different experience.
I prefer you get a samsung galaxy s3 because it is way better than htc.
