I have some pretty nice headphones that make most songs sound good, but the boost was immediate and the difference pretty apparent.

For AT&T customers, the decision could come down to size and weight, since the phone's designs are so different and since many other specs are so similar: LTE, 8-megapixel camera, identical processor, and large, HD screen.

It is very thin, and has a nice big screen, but it's not too big that it can barely fit in your pocket.

And while there are already quad-core Krait's with the more powerful Adreno 320 GPU this configuration is still powerful enough to be considered flagship material.

This beauty combined with some of the latest technological specifications, such as a Super LCD2 screen, 720p 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core Snapdragon S4, NFC and supported by a sound beatsaudio, we are undoubtedly facing a high-end Windows Phone.

The HTC Windows Phone 8X supports Beats Audio and you'll find the toggle deep in the settings menu, instead of the music player settings.

Although I do really like the 8X's smooth lines, manageable footprint, and bright colors, the Nokia Lumia 920 has the more consistent camera and double the storage at half the price.

In particular you've got a superb quality HD screen, NFC, a high power/high quality audio system that means this phone will run high-power headphones as well as pump out high quality audio from its speaker, and a lovely curved soft touch back.

As far as applications, most every application that I used on Android and iOS are present on WP8 or at least an equivalent that works the same, or in some cases better.

We wouldn't go as far as saying that HTC's plan to position it as the premium compact alternative has backfired, but the Windows Phone 8X isn't quite the Windows phone to deliver the best experience on the market.
HTC 8X | by GSM Arena (Nov, 2012)
Since Windows Phone 8 is Zune independent, you can easily upload videos from your computer via the USB mass storage mode.

Operating system

The Windows Phone 8X by HTC is a stylish yet quirky looking Windows Phone 8 handset that's beautifully made and packs in some interesting features.

WP is far ahead of IOS or Android as far as UI is concerned, and its nice that the experience is fairly consistent across devices (vs the different launcher, slight app changes and bloatware on my RAZR).

Ecosystem is a little behind, but Windows 8 / Windows Phone 8 / XBox is a nice combination.

Apps

Everything works smoothly and while WP is missing a few of the key apps (Pandora and Mint for me), it also has some unique apps as well, and with so many quality apps integrated into the OS very few additional apps are necessary.
