I used it to drive my Sennheiser HD600 headphones and immediately heard subtle detail and smooth sound in my music that I had not expected from a phone - not that I expected much given past experiences, but none the less, it was a pleasant surprise that the sound quality was enjoyable.

3D Camera is really good despite being 2 megapixels (not recommended to take photos in quick motion).
EVO 3D by luink (Feb, 2012)
The Evo 3D's 5-megapixel camera delivered excellent 2D picture quality; 3D photos were another story.

The standard, two-dimensional camera is pretty good (if not a little grainy) and shoots video in 720p.

Minor quibbles aside, thanks to its use of Android 2.3.4 this is a powerful yet easy to use phone that has all the usual advantages therein – there are plenty of apps in the Market, you've a browser that supports Adobe Flash and a wealth of customisability.

The screen is beautiful in itself, showing sharp text and images with bright colors, and it offers a smoother picture than the Evo's WVGA touch screen.

The display boasts a crisp and clear qHd* 960 x540 resolution viewing area with excellent color and contrast.
Rated 100% by by T.-R.-Kanavy--The-Friendly-Cyborg (Jun, 2011)
Both are capable of 720p video, which is plenty in my opinion, but the actual camera sensors aren't as good which is why the contrast and detail in pictures and video is noticeably worse than on the SGII and IP4.

The touch screen is big and easy to navigate.

Screen

The big display and the resolution are great.
HTC EVO 3D GSM, WiMAX | Rated 100% by by germanohenz (Jun, 2012)
All in all I'd say it's not bad considering most phones suck - and the large high-resolution bright screen is great.
HTC EVO 3D GSM, WiMAX | Rated 60% by by DAG (Dec, 2011)
It features a parallax barrier that displays two different images on top of the screen, thus creating a 3D effect without the use of glasses.
HTC EVO 3D GSM, WiMAX | Rated 87% by by c|net (Jun, 2011)

Video

BLAZING fast speed, higher quality speaker than OG Evo 4g, Nicer screen, Camera is noticeably better once you adjust settings properly, video is about 3x better and smoother.
HTC EVO 3D GSM, WiMAX | Rated 100% by by big4x4 (Jul, 2011)
Either way, you can still take quality photos and shoot HD video in 2D as well and the shutter button is perfect.
HTC EVO 3D GSM, WiMAX | Rated 100% by by Lou-Z--loupz (Jun, 2011)
Free 3D Spiderman game, 3D Green Hornet movie and 3D YouTube videos round out the main moniker of the phone and are fun to play with - but the real value of 3D is seeing 3D pictures of your family for the first time that brings a whole new perspective to your personal photos.
HTC EVO 3D GSM, WiMAX | Rated 100% by by Joseph-Martinez (Jun, 2011)

Camera

The camera is a wonder in itself: I usually don't care about the phone camera, but the 3D in this phone is amazing.
HTC EVO 3D GSM, WiMAX | Rated 100% by by Sarii (Dec, 2011)
The built-in dual LED flash helped photos taken dimly lit rooms look vibrant and crisp.

Starting with a full charge in the morning and with moderate to heavy use (including playing 3D games and video), we were able to go a full day, sometimes early into the next day, before needing to recharge.

Resolution

720p is a good enough to watch movies, especially on a portable screen but 1080p capability is a mandatory performance benchmark in this price range.
HTC EVO 3D GSM, WiMAX | by GSM Arena (Aug, 2011)
The internet (quality) is good, and I find that Dolphin HD browser works the best on it.
HTC EVO 3D GSM, WiMAX | Rated 100% by by Sarii (Dec, 2011)
A 1080p YouTube video playing smoothly was a nice surprise after the video player frowned at 1080p clips.
