Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 3.5G
by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)Ergonomically, it feels great and fits the hand very well, while the weight is just right - not too heavy and not too light.

One V by TrustedReviews (May, 2012)On the multimedia front, the smaller screen here means video and games have much less visual impact than on larger models, but given how popular the iPhone's small screen is, we can hardly complain.
One V by George-E.-Jelly--GeorgeJ (Oct, 2012)I am very impressed with this phone - beautiful (although small-ish) display and build quality.
screen resolution
One V by TrustedReviews (May, 2012)The 480 x 800 pixel resolution clearly isn't all that high but you hardly notice a difference in real world use between it and the super dense display of the iPhone 4/4S..
One V by TrustedReviews (May, 2012)The maps provide reasonable detail and they're a useful extra for if you're in an area with no phone signal (assuming you've previously downloaded the map) but overall the experience isn't a patch on GoogleMaps.

processor
One V by c|net (Jul, 2012)I'm talking a massive screen, 4G LTE data where you can get it, plus a nimble dual-core processor...the clear choice for die-hard Android fans.
One V by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)That said, the HTC One V must realize that it's mostly dual core smartphones it is about to compete with.
camera resolution

One V by c|net (Jul, 2012)Of course, the One V's 5-megapixel shooter has lower resolution than the 8-megapixel sensors found in many of today's high-end smartphones.
One V by c|net (Apr, 2012)Despite only having a 5-megapixel camera, the One V has a backside-illuminated (BSI) sensor.
Performance Real world tests of HTC One V
cpu speed
One V by TrustedReviews (May, 2012)Sure it would be nice if the camera and processor were both a little bit better but overall we've completely fallen for the combination of features on offer here.
One V by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)Samsung's most recent addition to the midrange, the Ace 2, is a dual-core droid with the unusual clock speed of 800 MHz.

Screen
HTC One V | Rated 70% by by c|net (Jul, 2012)Despite its minute size, the display produces accurate colors and wide viewing angles.
HTC One V | Rated 70% by by c|net (Jul, 2012)That said, the images I shot outdoors in strong to moderate sunlight were more pleasing, with bright, well-saturated colors.
HTC One V | by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)And while it doesn't have the Super AMOLED or Super IPS LCD2 screens found in its One series siblings, it manages crisp colors and decent contrast.
Camera
HTC One V | Rated 70% by by c|net (Aug, 2012)Equipped with its BSI (Back Side Illuminated) sensor and nimble auto focus, I was able to shoot pictures of fast-moving children - something that gives many phone cameras can't handle.
HTC One V | by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)The back panel contains the 5MP camera lens and the LED flash along the top.
HTC One V | by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)Colors are okay, too and we should give the camera a pat on the back for being extra fast.
Apps
HTC One V | by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)The HTC One V is capable of handling all sorts of messages - SMS, MMS, email.
HTC One V | Rated 100% by by Luis-Enrique (Jun, 2012)The problem with the speaker, i just find out it was with one song i play a lot, so it actually works great, its just the sound enhacer that changes the music sound.
HTC One V | by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)If you're using the music player, the playback controls show up on the lockscreen (as usual), but weirdly you cannot drag the music player widget into the ring to unlock and go directly to it.
Operating system
HTC One V | by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)The superior ecosystem of the Google OS is what should give the One V confidence in this battle, though.
HTC One V | Rated 70% by by c|net (Jul, 2012)Useful third-party software on the One V includes the Kindle e-book reader, the Audible audiobook subscription service, and TuneIn Internet radio (a personal favorite).
HTC One V | Rated 71% by by The Verge (Apr, 2012)I’m also left wondering what effect this will have on software updates, where different versions of Sense have to be built for each handset.
Video
HTC One V | by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)The video playing interface on the HTC One V offers a view mode toggle (full screen or best fit) and you can scrub through videos.
HTC One V | by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)There's no dedicated video player app onboard the HTC One V, video files can be accessed in the All videos subfolder in the Gallery.
HTC One V | Rated 90% by by TrustedReviews (May, 2012)Size wise, it does feel almost restrictive compared to the monster 4in models we've been seeing – you can't for instance read a fullscreen webpage, and video doesn't have the same impact – but in actual fact it's essentially the same width as the iPhone and about 5mm taller.

Xperia u would have been a perfect phone but the fact that it only comes with 4gb of storage and it has no sd card slot just ruins everything. Plus the htc comes with ics straight out of the box
