Thankfully HTC also provides a group of equalizer settings and per CNET headphones editor Justin Yu's suggestion, I tried the Sweetener profile, and found it offered the most balanced audio across all genres to my ears and his.

The HD screen is the best we've ever seen, its quad core processor is mighty fast, its camera mostly impressive and its design is reasonably smart.

In the hand, the AT&T model benefits from the same design elements as the original — the curves make it feel even thinner than it actually is, and the large display helps push the surface area-to-thickness ratio in the right direction.
One X by The Verge (Apr, 2012)
Finally, the camera is fast and the big screen makes for easy composition.

The result is a camera with crisp detail and pleasing quality that's as good as the iPhone 4S', while having a more aggressive HDR mode.
One X by c|net (Apr, 2012)
The physical details of this phone are exquisite, and it's clear that HTC's designers fussed over each and every one of them at length.

It’s certainly the most powerful, thanks to a 1.5GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, a 4.7-inch 720p display, an 8-megapixel camera with some aggressive specs, and 32GB of storage.
One X by The Verge (Apr, 2012)
The Terga 3 chipset, despite being a quad-core one, is based on the older, Cortex-A9, architecture, so it's not dramatically faster than the latest generation dual-core Krait processors.

Not because it features more megapixels – it's still an 8-megapixel model – but because it has a host of other improvements and a superfast continuous shooting mode.

In terms of quality, it seems consistent with other 8 megapixel cameras from the previous generation.

People complained that they can't replace the battery with the backup battery in daily usage but i must say that there is no difference between carrying a backup battery or external charger.

I'm not saying some users don't appreciate Beats — it definitely makes music more "exciting" sounding — but if you're looking for "authentic" music reproduction, Beats definitely isn't the answer.

At an angle, brightness drops off but colour accuracy and contrast remain impressive.

Overall I experienced performance that was blazingly fast - you won't feel any Android "lag" when using this phone.

The screen is amazing, in my opinion even better than the Samsung Galaxy s3's amoled screen.

The photos don't do this phone justice, it is sleek , elegant and manufactured to the highest quality.

Screen

It gets very bright, brighter in fact than the HTC One S' qHD AMOLED screen, and has viewing angles that are nice and wide.
HTC One X Quad Core | Rated 86% by by c|net (May, 2012)
On top of all that, viewing angles are essentially infinite with no shift in colour on contrast as you view it from an angle.
HTC One X Quad Core | Rated 90% by by TrustedReviews (Sep, 2012)
There's a notification LED embedded underneath the earpiece grille which is quite bright and easy to make out in any light, but it's not very versatile.
HTC One X Quad Core | Rated 84% by by The Verge (Apr, 2012)

Apps

The Music app itself, though, is great with it integrating other music services into the one interface.

The Music app brings together your local music and other music services in one easy interface.

Sound quality is decent but not fantastic (am referring to voice - I haven't played any music on it yet).

Carrier

AT&T sprinkles the device with its own selection of apps, such as U-verse Live TV, which serves up both live programming and full TV episodes and movies (for an extra $9.99 per month, and you can't use it over Wi-Fi), a bar code scanner, and FamilyMap for locating family members ($9.99 per month for two family members, $14.99 for up to five).

If you stay in Akron,OH OR Cleveland,OH the HTC ONE X will run on T-Mobile Hapa+ AKA 4G, T-Mobile is running a 1900 mzh & that will get you HAPA + Downloads, so have fun kida.

Lastely...to get any T-Mobile data to work you need to buy a specific Micro SIM from T-Mobile (version 50.01).

Camera

The camera is fast as promised though I still feel it takes a little longer to launch than I would have liked it to.

[...]. Camera performance is great in daylight and good compared to most of the phones including gs3 at night time.

As for image quality, I can't confidently say these are the best cameraphone photos I've ever seen, which was what I was expecting considering what a big deal HTC had made about it when these handsets were announced several weeks ago.
HTC One X Quad Core | Rated 84% by by The Verge (Apr, 2012)

Battery

With two and a half hours of hotspot use in LTE coverage, about 40 minutes of heavy-duty benchmarking, and a 40-minute phone call, I still managed some seven hours and 14 minutes before it gave up the ghost.
HTC One X Quad Core | Rated 84% by by The Verge (Apr, 2012)

Stick with your HTC X. The Nexus 4 is a nice phone, but there is not enough of a differences between the 2 phones to take a loss on your HTC X.
