I actually don't mind it most of the time, because the size is due to the screen size.

Not only is it really sharp (at about 312 ppi, it's virtually impossible to distinguish individual pixels), but also has great contrast and nicely saturated colors.

The resolution chart clearly shows the One X+ resolves plenty of detail, but the color fringing is all over the place too.

I presume this is because the One X Plus has a quad core processor (the One X had a dual core) which is more of a battery hog.

Not sure there are that much parallelism to exploit or whether the parallelism is handled well for four cores in most common apps.

Strangely enough, the One X+ screen turned out to slightly dimmer than that of its predecessor, but the good news is it offers superior contrast when used at full brightness.

The latest Android OSes are a clear improvement on iOS and HTC Sense is built with the same care and taste as the hardware.

The One X+ features Jelly Bean out of the box, which is an awesome OS, and it is the main reason I switch to Android from iOS.

It is a superb piece of design, the most beautiful realisation of the genius vision pioneered by Steve Jobs not so many years ago.

Screen

Sunlight legibility is good, although the lowered brightness and the improved performance of the competitors means that it's some way off the best we have seen.
HTC One X+ | by GSM Arena (Nov, 2012)
The screen packs more pixels per inch than the iPhone and is very true to color, offering a phenomenal viewing experience.

The viewing angles are splendid - the icons have that look as if they are painted on the screen that we love so much.

Video

And 1080p videos I shot also were clear and exhibited none of the blocky pixelation I've seen from phones with lower-res camcorders.

And while the One X+ video recording isn't as good as that of the Galaxy S III, it's low-light performance is superior.
