While the 16GB card is a welcome sight in the box, we do believe that a pair of headphones would have been great as well.

You have a LTE phone with a large HD screen and WIFI and GPS and Bluetooth look people see how much you have draining the battery.

The Galaxy Nexus has an even bigger screen, though, so I’m sure this is the right size for some.

You'll get good pictures, and great videoThe 8-megapixel shooter on the back of the Nitro isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s as good as the cameras on most other high-end smartphones.

The 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside the Nitro HD is about as good as you’ll find in a smartphone these days, so it’s no surprise that it’s a pretty zippy phone.
Nitro HD by The Verge (Dec, 2011)
With a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, and a gig of RAM, the LG Nitro HD is surely no slouch.

The LG Nitro has a high-capacity1,830mAh battery, but its battery life is suspect.

Its viewing angles are excellent, with very little discoloration as you get off-center (Samsung’s AMOLED displays start to glow blue as soon as you move to the side).

Since this is an Android phone, you're looking at Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, plus DLNA and Wi-Fi Direct support.

I love that this phone is thin, and light weight, the iphone can't beat that yet!

HD looks great and has the best display I've seen yet for a 4.5 inch screen.

Screen

The HD screen is wonderful - very crisp, very bright, looks as good as or better than any other one currently out there including the Retina display.
LG Nitro HD | Rated 80% by by Doggymcnuggets--doggymcnuggets (Dec, 2012)
Even though the screen size is important, LG's real point of pride is the Nitro HD's 4.5-inch "true HD AH-IPS" display with a 1,280x720-pixel resolution and a pixel density of 329 pixels per inch.
LG Nitro HD | Rated 83% by by c|net (Dec, 2011)
Photos look terrific when viewed on the phone's screen, but less so when seen on a computer screen.
LG Nitro HD | Rated 83% by by c|net (Dec, 2011)

Battery

But if you can wait a few weeks or months, you’ll be much better served by a phone with better battery life and without the Nitro’s software problems.
LG Nitro HD | Rated 72% by by The Verge (Dec, 2011)
The battery life is way better, it's close to 2000 mAh, come on people.

ICS, inherently, improves battery life and lg's skin is pretty awesome.

Video

The HD videos look really sharp with very fluid motion and surpass my Canon point & shoot camera's video.

It still has large icons and large text, not quite making use of how much real estate it actually has, but everything is readable and clear, and video in particular looks fantastic.

Battery life

I ALSO WONDER WHY I HAVE TO CHARGE THE BATTERLY DAILY.
LG Nitro HD | Rated 60% by by cucunas (Apr, 2013)
In my experience I have to charge my phone every night minimum, and often times under heavy use I have to charge it during the day to keep it going.

Get it if you want the most beautiful display available and a BETTER THAN AVERAGE battery life.

Type

The Android browser is one of the best available on a mobile device – put it on a beautiful HD screen, like the Nitro’s and it is a joy to experience.
LG Nitro HD | by GSM Arena (Dec, 2011)
If you can, you should wait for Ice Cream Sandwich The bleeding edge of Android specs currently boils down to three things: a 720p display, LTE support, and Ice Cream Sandwich.
LG Nitro HD | Rated 72% by by The Verge (Dec, 2011)
Thank goodness for LauncherProLG made a beautiful phone, and then nearly ruined it by adding its UI skin, which is one of the ugliest I’ve ever seen on an Android phone.
