I LOVE ICS!! I upgraded from a Motorola Droid X, and am very impressed with the lightweight Spectrum II.-The touch screen is super responsive (sometimes just hovering over a letter while texting is enough).

Sure it has a big screen but it feels like you are holding an iPad to your face.

When I reviewed the Nitro, I called it the best LTE phone available on AT&T, and the Spectrum is every bit as good on paper: 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch IPS display, LTE connectivity, and an 8-megapixel camera.

What's more, the Revolution 2 also comes with an 8-megapixel camera, NFC (near-field communication), Bluetooth 4.0, wireless charging capability, and a host of other Android requisites.
Spectrum by c|net (Oct, 2012)
Plus, that 8-megapixel camera takes some nice outdoor shots, and the $199.99 price tag means it's well-subsidized for a superphone.

I love the fact that it charges in 2 hours but the bad part is the battery life... the battery life on here isn't the best!

Anecdotally, the battery seemed pretty standard, but I'll continue to add results from my battery drain tests.

For good reason, too: the 1280 x 720 IPS display is excellent; sharp and clear with extremely accurate colors.

Like the LG Nitro HD, the Spectrum has a terrific 4.5-inch HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, and an 8-megapixel camera with support for 1080p video recording.
Read the review (Jan, 2012)
It has an 8-megapixel sensor with an LED flash and the bonus bits of image stabilisation and face detection.

The LG Spectrum is among the first batch of Verizon LTE World Phones, which means it can access any CDMA or GSM network worldwide.-Not widely publicized: The Spectrum has "Dolby Mobile" included in its music and video player, providing a clearer and more spatial audio experience with most input when listening with headphones.

As far as this phone I'm not impressed when on t-mobile i had the my touch 4g (old Smart phone).
Rated 40% by by just-me (Dec, 2012)
For the price, it is the best 4G LTE phone in Verizon's line-up.

Screen

PROS:Screen is perfect in size, clarity, AND brightness.
LG Spectrum | Rated 100% by by Daedalus (Dec, 2012)
And surprise: The 4.5" Spectrum display is larger than the 4.65" Nexus display *most of the time.

Gorilla Glass is sensitive enough for today's most sophisticated touch applications, and is available with an easy-to-clean coating.
LG Spectrum | Rated 60% by by O.-Semprit-Jr.

Battery

And that's as true with the Spectrum as any phone I've ever used: the phone never held its charge for a full 24 hours, even with only mild use, and streaming videos or any kind of heavy LTE usage cut that down to only a few hours of use.
LG Spectrum | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Jan, 2012)
If I need more battery time, I can always purchase the extended battery and keep it on hand for emergencies.

Video

If I can have a phone that can play HD videos via youtube, netflix and not lag i'm happy, which this phones satisfies me.

Carrier

The phone is really fast on Verizon.
LG Spectrum | Rated 100% by by STEF--Sam (Apr, 2012)
The Spectrum wouldn't be a great phone on any carrier, but on Verizon it pales even more The LG Nitro HD succeeds in spite of its UI skin because it has great hardware, a great display, fast LTE speeds, and only a few other phones on its network that can claim the same.
LG Spectrum | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Jan, 2012)
After reading so many negative things regarding the Nexus radios, after having a HTC Rezound for a week and not likeing it (too heavy, bulky, screen scratches easily), I finaly opted for the underdog in Verizon's line up: the LG Spectrum.
LG Spectrum | Rated 80% by by juny20

Network technology

Internet load times on Verizon's 4G LTE network were also good, and LTE coverage held pretty steady here in San Francisco.
LG Spectrum | Rated 83% by by c|net (Jan, 2012)
The Galaxy Nexus literally could not pick up a signal at my house, the S3 was not much better and the Motorolas had a solid 3G signal but barely picked up a 4G signal.
LG Spectrum | Rated 100% by by Chris-Martin (Dec, 2012)
The 4G LTE is blazing and my coverage is unending.
