Epic 4G Touch by gamerguy--gamerguy (Aug, 2012)I've had a blast with my wife's galaxy 2, the screen is super nice and big, it's fast(to me same speed as the iphone 4S), phone connections are clear on both ends, 4G/3G, WiFi operate excellent (at least where we live in VA) and elegant and an overall powerhouse of a smart phone.
Epic 4G Touch by firedancer1962I have small hands and I didn't like the feel of my boyfriends' Droid X. I got my phone and it's SO much bigger than the Droid X. But EVERYONE comments on the screen size and how bright it is.
screen resolution
Epic 4G Touch by c|net (Sep, 2011)Even with indoor shots, photos were sharp with bright, vivid colors and showed more detail compared to some other camera phones.
Epic 4G Touch by sonnojoi--sonnojoiThe screen is gorgeous despite being relatively low-resolution compared to other new phones and the wifi and 3g/4g connections are really fast (I live right outside Minneapolis).

processor
Epic 4G Touch by Stephen-G. (Jun, 2012)It is plenty fast with its dual-core processor and RAM so using any program and game has been pretty snappy.
Epic 4G Touch by TTN (Dec, 2011)I have read reviews where people are praising the dual-core processor and saying that their is absolutely no lag in this phone at all.

Epic 4G Touch by M.-Reynard--kairosdreamingAnd like a regular camera, this phone can take pictures in different formats from black and white to sepia, the resolutions can be adjusted, delays can be set, and many other standard camera features can be achieved with it.
Performance Real world tests of Samsung Epic 4G Touch
cpu speed
Epic 4G Touch by electronicnutAfter a few months of the Samsung Galaxy S3, all the nice features, such as a bigger screen, better processor, bigger processor, and other software features such as S Voice etc; the poor speeds of the Sprint 3G network is what prompted me to change devices.4G LTE is not in my area yet and Sprint can't give a definite answer of when it might be available.
Epic 4G Touch by Mackie (Nov, 2011)I'm not sure what fairy dust Samsung sprinkled into the Dual Core Exynos 1.2Ghz processor, but it has consistently beat other (higher clock speed, even) phones over the past year, even besting the most recent Galaxy Nexus in Quadrant scores.
browser benchmark
Epic 4G Touch by B.-Marsh (Oct, 2011)Web browsing was never fast but was like going from cable back to dial-up.
Epic 4G Touch by M.-Brindley (Feb, 2012)Other than that, it flies through apps with ease, nice internet browser as it has the typical droid browser.
download speed
Epic 4G Touch by c|net (Sep, 2011)Using Ookla's Speedtest.net app, we clocked average download speeds of 4.37Mbps and upload speeds of 1.39Mbps.
Epic 4G Touch by WanderLust (Jan, 2012)The only thing I can say that the Galaxy lacks is data speed.
talk time
522 min
900 min
420 min
Epic 4G Touch by DoctorLol (May, 2012)With very minimum use (no talk time during work, just checking the time occasionally), everything turned off except for sound, I can expect my phone battery to be around 45-50% by 5pm.
Epic 4G Touch by c|net (Sep, 2011)The smartphone fell short of the rated talk time in our battery drain tests, but the results were still impressive at 7 hours.

Screen
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 40% by by A.-AllyThe screen is probably the best part of the phone, big and bright.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 100% by by BradI replaced my phone's stock home screen with Go Launcher Ex (the best home screen/launcher IMHO) so I don't have much to say about Samsung's home screen, except that both my wife and son still use it and they seem very happy with it.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 80% by by firedancer1962If you decide you want the right screen to the left of the home screen, you can just move that entire page to the left and move the left to the right of the home screen.
Network technology
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 20% by by Itz (Feb, 2012)I love the features on this phone, but unfortunately the Internet get a very poor signal on a 3G and 4G.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 100% by by Robert (Apr, 2012)very fast processor, screens snap right up, especially on wi-fi.3g and 4g, this phone finds and holds 4g better than older phones.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 100% by by ChrisThe S3 and the Evo LTE both have a large advantage over this phone though, it has 4g LTE.
Apps
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 100% by by ED (Sep, 2011)Touchwiz provides a power widget which is very useful: It goes according to this: wifi- bluetooth-gps-brightness-settings-sync-screentime out-tips (toggle off and on).

Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 87% by by c|net (Sep, 2011)The video editor is particularly great, since it makes it easy to piece together clips with different effects and music, all from right on your phone.
Touch
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 100% by by Mackie (Nov, 2011)It feels like air in your pocket, the textured back is a joy to hold, and as far as internals, no phone has been able to touch it yet.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 100% by by Michael-B.-Magnet--Tech-enthusiast-pharmacist-dynamo (Sep, 2011)I honestly feel like the iPhone 5 will be lucky if it can even attain an on-par status with the amazing user experience the Epic Touch 4G delivers.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 100% by by ss--ss (May, 2012)Samsung has done a great job of refining the operating system and their touch wiz interface.
Battery
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 100% by by Alex-Sanchez (Sep, 2011)The phone reception is still very good and in my opinion, the lesser battery life (lasts me about 18 hours with plenty of use) is well worth the trade-off.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 60% by by dt2008I am not sure if the battery icon is accurate enough in pixels.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch White | Rated 100% by by spheroid (Jul, 2012)For the most part I am getting 24 hours or sometimes more depending on usage before needing to charge!
