The HD screen is the best we've ever seen, its quad core processor is mighty fast, its camera mostly impressive and its design is reasonably smart.

Despite it's large screen size the phone fits well in a pocket.
One X for AT&T by Roland-Schaer (May, 2012)
While it's still not as good as a hardware one, it's the next best thing - the 4.7" screen has enough real estate for big, well-spaced keys, which are easy to hit.

screen resolution

HTC One X
The screen is still not as good as on the now two year old iPhone retina display.
One X for AT&T by Book-buyer (May, 2012)
Not only is it remarkably sharp (at about 312 ppi, it's virtually impossible to distinguish individual pixels), but also has great contrast and nicely saturated colors.

The manufacturing of the One X's newer dual-core is more efficient than the older quad-core processor, and sites benchmarking the two have come up with almost identical performance scores.
One X for AT&T by Pyanfar-Chanur (May, 2012)
It’s certainly the most powerful, thanks to a 1.5GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, a 4.7-inch 720p display, an 8-megapixel camera with some aggressive specs, and 32GB of storage.

There is a lower-resolution front camera, but I would only imagine that would be useful for snapping thumbnail pics.
One X for AT&T by Pyanfar-Chanur (May, 2012)
Not because it features more megapixels – it's still an 8-megapixel model – but because it has a host of other improvements and a superfast continuous shooting mode.

Battery size is average, could've been bigger and removable, but the battery life is very good.

Overall however, based on stats alone I'd take the SIII over the One X. Also, the T-Mobile version of the One also has a Super Amoled screen and not the Super HD LCD display like the AT&T model, and it is clearly not as good, this isn't subjective, it just IS.

The screen is amazing, in my opinion even better than the Samsung Galaxy s3's amoled screen.

The photos don't do this phone justice, it is sleek , elegant and manufactured to the highest quality.

the weight is also just nice - surprisingly light for a phone this size, yet not too light.
