Rated 73% by by c|net (May, 2011)Picture quality is definitely not one of the Trophy's strong suits.
by GSM Arena (Nov, 2011)What has changed is performance - the new browser relies on hardware graphics acceleration to provide smoother graphics (and video) and animation and the JavaScript engine has been retooled as well.
Conclusion Which is better for you?

Windows Phone 7 3.5G
1 GHz
Windows Phone 7.5 Mango 3.5G
Rated 77% by by c|net (Nov, 2011)Sure, some will scoff the lack of a dual-core processor, a bigger screen, and support for faster 4G speeds, but HTC has, once again, churned out a beautifully designed product and the new improvements of Windows Phone Mango bring a great user experience with well-integrated features that should please many users.
screen size
3.8"
3.8"
Trophy by Jeremy (Jan, 2012)The form factor is great too....small enough to slip in a pocket, but the screen is big enough to be usable.
Radar by Rio-Acosta-Jr (Jan, 2012)Not only did she like the os but she enjoys the great color, size, weight, and screen.
screen resolution
Trophy by AndrewNext I would say the screen quality is great, the resolution is sharp and you can easily see the display even in brighter lightning conditions.
Radar by GSM Arena (Sep, 2011)We'll save that for the review, when we can look at each detail closer.

processor
Trophy by c|net (May, 2011)Certainly, it's not going to vie for the attention of those seeking 4G and dual-core processors, and we wish certain aspects of the phone were better.
Radar by Y.-Zhou (May, 2012)Yes the specs may be lower, but who really needs a quad-core powerhouse on a phone?
camera resolution
| 0 MP | 5 MP | 5 MP |
Radar by TrustedReviews (Oct, 2011)It's got a good screen, 5.0 megapixel camera, decent battery life and the Window Phone 7.5 UI turns out to be a pleasure to use.
Performance Real world tests of HTC Trophy vs HTC Radar
cpu speed
Trophy by JF (Jan, 2012)All of my photos are automatically placed on the internet, and I've never used a better word processor on a mobile device.
Radar by Alexander-Ranaldi--Alex (Apr, 2012)I don't want or need a multi-core processor running at a blistering clock speed.
browser benchmark
Trophy by Robert-A.-Bimson (Sep, 2011)But it was fast, it was clear, it grouped things intelligently, it weighed less than my Droid, it offered MS Office, Internet Explorer and synched with Outlook.
Radar by TrustedReviews (Feb, 2012)It’s a slick app, though we did notice a delay in the content loading, which could be down to the lack of RAM (though admittedly the Wi-Fi connection at the launch event was not lightening fast either).
download speed
Trophy by c|net (May, 2011)We didn't experience any dropped calls during our review period, and though 4G is all the rage right now, we still got pretty good data speeds using Verizon's 3G network.
Radar by Jimonly (Nov, 2012)The only small quibble was the one she got is the international version, which doesn't support full 3G data speeds on the T-Mobile network.
talk time
294 min
600 min
Trophy by c|net (May, 2011)The smartphone met its rated talk time in our battery drain tests, but compared to other smartphones, it's on the short side.
Radar by Saint04 (Oct, 2012)The battery life for this phone is excellent in regards to talk time (I can probably get 7-8 hours of talk time).

network technology
HTC Radar | by GSM Arena (Nov, 2011)The HTC Radar has quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support and dual-band 3G with HSPA (14.4Mbps downlink and 5.76Mbps uplink).
HTC Trophy | Rated 73% by by c|net (Jan, 2011)We tested the quad-band (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) HTC Trophy in New York using T-Mobile service, and call quality was mostly good.
HTC Trophy | Rated 73% by by c|net (May, 2011)Using dual-mode technology, the Trophy runs on Verizon's CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A network domestically, but once abroad, the phone will automatically detect and switch to a GSM network, so you can continue to use voice and data.
carrier
HTC Trophy | Rated 73% by by c|net (May, 2011)Verizon packages the HTC Trophy with an AC adapter, a USB cable, a preinstalled SIM card, a wired stereo headset, and reference material.
HTC Trophy | Rated 73% by by c|net (May, 2011)Still, Big Red has a pretty competitive lineup of handsets, so we have to wonder if there's room for the Trophy on Verizon's smartphone mantle.
HTC Trophy | Rated 73% by by c|net (May, 2011)Verizon also has a hand in some of the content available on the Trophy.
