Rated 83% by by c|net (Nov, 2011)It has an amazing HD display, an impressive 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4G LTE speeds, a great camera, and plenty of multimedia features, and it ships with a nice pair of earbuds even if they don't seem the most durable.
Conclusion Which is better for you?
Features Key features of the LG Spectrum compared to the HTC Rezound
GHz1.5
Android 2.3 Gingerbread 4G
Rated 83% by by c|net (Jan, 2012)Overall, the Spectrum is a beautiful device that belongs in the same league as Verizon's heavy hitters, and the $199.99 price tag will help nudge fence-sitters in LG's direction.
1.5 GHz
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 4G
Rated 76% by by The Verge (Nov, 2011)The Rezound feels fast and smooth, and it should: the 1.5GHz Snapdragon S3 is one of the fastest processors around right nowBeats Audio.
screen size
4.5"
4.3"
Spectrum by billforshort (May, 2012)Sure it has a big screen but it feels like you are holding an iPad to your face.
Rezound by Louis-Agresti--wrightflyer1903 (Feb, 2012)First of do not listen to the Apple and Galaxy fanboys, the Galaxy and Iphone are far from perfect, where i will agree the battery could be better, but where this phone shines is the radios, never once have i had a drop call or data issues, unlike the galaxy,or the Iphone, hardware wise this phone will pretty much handle anything you throw at it,4G and Wifi are lightning fast, nice clear big screen well built, decent camera superior GPS,make the rezound a top notch phone.
screen resolution
Spectrum by O.-Semprit-Jr.Anyhow I won't cover most of the technical details nor the plus and cons as they have pretty much been covered by other reviewers.
Rezound by M.-Espina (Jan, 2012)Like I stated before the Rezound has a ppi rating of around 340 which makes this screen look amazing.

processor
Spectrum by The Verge (Jan, 2012)When I reviewed the Nitro, I called it the best LTE phone available on AT&T, and the Spectrum is every bit as good on paper: 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch IPS display, LTE connectivity, and an 8-megapixel camera.
Rezound by M.-Espina (Jan, 2012)The iphone is pretty solid ~12hr battery life moderate usage great screen, bulky, 8mp camera, has a very fast dual core processor and this nifty thing called siri (yes their are similar things on the andriod market, but stil not as intuitive).
camera resolution
| 0 MP | 8 MP | 8 MP |
Spectrum by c|net (Jan, 2012)Plus, that 8-megapixel camera takes some nice outdoor shots, and the $199.99 price tag means it's well-subsidized for a superphone.
Rezound by c|net (Nov, 2011)The front-facing 2-megapixel camera is located on the upper-right corner of the display and the rear 8-megapixel sits on the back along with the LED flash.
Performance Real world tests of LG Spectrum vs HTC Rezound
cpu speed
Spectrum by IronChefMIk (Jan, 2013)The the processor is fast enough to play ps1 roms without any issues.
talk time
492 min
390 min
Spectrum by g.grouundstaber (Sep, 2012)I love the fact that it charges in 2 hours but the bad part is the battery life... the battery life on here isn't the best!

screen
LG Spectrum | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Jan, 2012)Unlike the iPhone's screen, which is laminated to the glass to make it seem like it's right on the surface, the Spectrum's display looks like it's far away from your finger as you tap it.
LG Spectrum | by TrustedReviews (Jan, 2012)However, the LG Spectrum’s screen is rather more advanced, offering similar pixel density at a significantly larger size.
LG Spectrum | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Jan, 2012)The blacks on the Spectrum's screen render more like dark gray, though, so the Galaxy Nexus' screen looks slightly better when you're showing video or photos.
reception
LG Spectrum | Rated 80% by by J.-Williams (Apr, 2012)So if you are looking for a phone with great reception I highly recommend the Spectrum.
LG Spectrum | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Jan, 2012)In general, the Spectrum's call quality is pretty good.
LG Spectrum | Rated 80% by by keledogCall quality is excellent and the music app with the dolby surround sounds better than the HTC Rezound's sound.
network technology
LG Spectrum | Rated 83% by by c|net (Jan, 2012)I tested the LG Spectrum (CDMA 800, 1900; LTE 700) in San Francisco using Verizon's network.
LG Spectrum | Rated 83% by by c|net (Jan, 2012)There are several themes that came out of CES 2012, where Verizon first showed off the LG Spectrum, one of its latest 4G LTE superphones.
LG Spectrum | by TrustedReviews (Jan, 2012)You may not ever see phones like the LTE-powered CDMA LG Spectrum down the local phone shop, but it tells us a lot about the phones we can expect to see from LG into 2012.
carrier
LG Spectrum | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Jan, 2012)The Spectrum wouldn't be a great phone on any carrier, but on Verizon it pales even more The LG Nitro HD succeeds in spite of its UI skin because it has great hardware, a great display, fast LTE speeds, and only a few other phones on its network that can claim the same.
LG Spectrum | Rated 80% by by juny20After reading so many negative things regarding the Nexus radios, after having a HTC Rezound for a week and not likeing it (too heavy, bulky, screen scratches easily), I finaly opted for the underdog in Verizon's line up: the LG Spectrum.
LG Spectrum | by c|net (Oct, 2012)Starting today, Verizon will offer the LG Spectrum 2, an LTE Android phone.
resolution
LG Spectrum | by TrustedReviews (Jan, 2012)The just-ok plastic build, outdated OS and that it won’t come to the UK in its current form stop us from getting too excited about the LG Spectrum as an overall package, but its 4.5in 720p IPS screen is something to behold.
LG Spectrum | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Jan, 2012)The Spectrum shoots 1080p (actually 1920 x 1088 for some reason, but it doesn't seem to make any difference) video, as well as 720p and a series of lower resolutions.
LG Spectrum | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Jan, 2012)The Rezound, Galaxy Nexus, and Spectrum all have pretty much equally excellent 720p screens, and once you've used one of them it'll be hard to accept a phone without a display this good.
