Overall, the Spectrum is a beautiful device that belongs in the same league as Verizon's heavy hitters, and the $199.99 price tag will help nudge fence-sitters in LG's direction.

Sure it has a big screen but it feels like you are holding an iPad to your face.

Even the screen is good, so don't let the reviews scare you away on the screen resolution and pixel quality.

Anyhow I won't cover most of the technical details nor the plus and cons as they have pretty much been covered by other reviewers.

I cannot wait to utilize the power this phone has with its dual core processor - It handles everything to easily at the moment.
DROID BIONIC by Preston-R.-Mills (Oct, 2011)
When I reviewed the Nitro, I called it the best LTE phone available on AT&T, and the Spectrum is every bit as good on paper: 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch IPS display, LTE connectivity, and an 8-megapixel camera.

OG Droid with 5 MegaPixels did a much better job.
DROID BIONIC by Sarosh-Arunkumar (Dec, 2011)
Plus, that 8-megapixel camera takes some nice outdoor shots, and the $199.99 price tag means it's well-subsidized for a superphone.

I want to add what this hardware does: it provides the network and processor speed that fully realizes the promise of a cloud computing environment.

talk time

640 min
492 min
What this means is that you never really go into standby mode, and so talk time will equal usage time.
DROID BIONIC by mdanger21 (Sep, 2011)
I love the fact that it charges in 2 hours but the bad part is the battery life... the battery life on here isn't the best!

With its dual-core processor, Verizon LTE speeds, HD video recording, HDMI port, and luscious 4.3-inch qHD display, the Droid Bionic was a pioneering handset in many ways.

Like the LG Nitro HD, the Spectrum has a terrific 4.5-inch HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, and an 8-megapixel camera with support for 1080p video recording.

As far as the Android OS goes it is a great OS.

The widgets and apps make it much more customizable than the iphone (for example, I love my swiftkey keyboard app; there is no way to use anything but the stock keyboard on the iphone).

The cameras are basically the same as far as I can tell with the photos but let me be honest my favorite camera we have is not our fancy 14mp but our 6mp 10 year old camera.
