It is generally easy and pleasant to use, and the low price point, coupled with the beautiful hardware and solid LTE service could be persuasive.

Of course, my assessment could always change in a week when the HTC Titan II launches, with its whopping 16-megapixel camera, though to me, the Lumia 900 is ahead in style points.

Performance Real world tests of Nokia Lumia 900 vs HTC HD7

First off, I was attracted to the Lumia 900 for its gorgeous screen, the LTE speed, the speed of the phone processor and the fact that I could get it for about $18 (after the promotional $100 credit from Nokia).
Lumia 900 by J.-Harston
That said, it doesn't have the crispness and vibrancy of some of the latest smartphone displays, and in general, we would have liked to see more improvements or upgrades to the HD7 in comparison to its predecessor, the HTC HD2, as the two phones share the same screen, processor, and battery.

although I use the phone around less than 30 minutes talk time and very minimal data usage, also disabled all the background processes I have to charge twice a day!

However, the smartphone did meet its rated talk time in our battery drain tests.

Overall, the display is bright and clear, showing off 480x800 pixels, but we definitely noticed a difference in quality compared with some of the higher-resolution displays on some of the today's latest smartphones.

Snaps look crisp and detailed, but colour reproduction isn’t wonderful and it has a tendency to burn out highlights when taking pictures outdoors when there’s lots of bright sun light.

The OS however I feel is INCOMPLETE as its touted to have Office Mobile, however has no Task module as did earlier phones with OS from Microsoft.

I compared about 15 photos I took on the Lumia 900 with identical pictures I snapped on the iPhone 4S, the Samsung Focus S, and the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx, which all have 8-megapixel cameras.
