I'm quite pleased with this cell phone because it has many improvements over version S5830 (ACE), in terms of speed (since it is dual core), ergonomics, screen and graphics, also has more storage memory for applications (rather negative aspect in the ACE version).

Ergonomically, it feels great and fits the hand very well, while the weight is just right - not too heavy and not too light.

The size is great, it's not too big, not too small and the screen is perfect enough.
Galaxy Ace 2 by jlozano (Sep, 2012)
On the multimedia front, the smaller screen here means video and games have much less visual impact than on larger models, but given how popular the iPhone's small screen is, we can hardly complain.

Still colors are nicely balanced and the detail is enough for the Ace 2 to be considered a good shooter in times of need.
Galaxy Ace 2 by GSM Arena (Jul, 2012)
While the One S and One X are flexing muscle at each other as a way to stay sharp for the invasion of the other predators with multi-core processors and high resolution screens, the One V aims at a less violent market segment - and it's priced accordingly.

The internals held a pleasant surprise too - the dual-core processor runs at 800MHz and is well endowed with 768MB of RAM (quite a few dual-cores come with just 512MB).
Galaxy Ace 2 by GSM Arena (Apr, 2012)
I'm talking a massive screen, 4G LTE data where you can get it, plus a nimble dual-core processor...the clear choice for die-hard Android fans.

Very good phone, excellent screen resolution, no lag whatsoever, and the camera does the job.
Galaxy Ace 2 by Andres-Hernandez (Nov, 2012)
Of course, the One V's 5-megapixel shooter has lower resolution than the 8-megapixel sensors found in many of today's high-end smartphones.

PLS is Samsung's take on IPS, the screen technology used in the iPhone 4S and HTC One X. Viewing angles are excellent, with just some loss of brightness when tilted to extremes in particular directions.

Aiming to deliver 90% of the benefits of its extremely popular sibling for a fraction of the price, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 plays to the company's strengths and might turn out to be one of the unsung heroes of the year.Dual-core might not be top-dog material in the Android realm any more, but it's enough to run virtually all apps and give you a nice smooth sailing around the interface.

The HTC One V, for example, costs just a few bucks more than the Ace 2 and offers superior looks plus Android ICS right out of the box, but it's let down by its chipset.

Linpack shows the One V trumped by its superior competition - normal given the fact that the One V CPU not only has fewer cores but also uses an older architecture.

Although only a third of what the Samsung Galaxy S3 can muster, it's a much better score than what the HTC One V achieves, with its single-core 1GHz processor.
