Under good lighting conditions, the videos have decent detail, although the combination of noise and compression take a lot of that away.

Even Lamborghini’s been happy to use the material in its lightweight Gallardo Superleggera and in the case of the N9 it really goes a long way to upholding the company’s reputation for durable and reliable construction.

Not considering the Lumia, fairly below the par in almost evereything but the chassis, any of them had good quality in some areas like graphics smoothness or richness of details, camera, media, number of built-in features, browser, battery duration and device appeal.

The phone feels really fast especially compared to my Nexus One (as expected for a dual-core device).
Galaxy Nexus by umguy
Also, ground-up support for multitasking within Meego keeps the overall experience very smooth(and this despite the N9 sporting a single-core processor) - much better than my "4-core" Sony Android Tablet Z.And last but not the least, this is one of the most pocketable smartphones out there - Nokia does get a few things right from time to time.

Sure it only has a 5 megapixel resolution, but there is near-zero shutter time on this phone, and all of my pictures came out very clearly.

Still, you get plenty of functionality, a Carl-Zeiss certified lens and a sensor that can capture 8 megapixel stills in 4:3 mode, or 7 megapixel snaps in 16:9 or 3:2 mode.

The 5-megapixel shooter on the device is most definitely capable of taking great looking photos, and that's aided by a super-fast auto focus (with tap-to-focus as well), consistent face detection, and a generally forgiving sensor.

Nokia made a big push last year to enlighten devs on its flexibility and the ease with which apps can be ported between MeeGo and Symbian devices, which is evidenced on the N9 by the presence of JoikuSpot, a longtime Symbian mainstay, as the preloaded Wi-Fi Hotspot app.

The back has a lovely centered chrome plate containing the 8.7 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens and engraved Nokia logo, next to which is the dual LED flash.
