Sunlight legibility is splendid too - the HD Super AMOLED isn't the brightest around, but its reflectivity is so low that even when outside in the brightest day, you'll still be able to make out what's on the screen quite clearly.

When it's good, the Windows Phone 8X's backside illuminated camera is very good, hitting the sweet spot in detail, color accuracy, and sharp edges.

The pretty large, sharp display with great colors makes reading a joy.

For AT&T customers, the decision could come down to size and weight, since the phone's designs are so different and since many other specs are so similar: LTE, 8-megapixel camera, identical processor, and large, HD screen.

After all, the outdated assumption that the more megapixels you have the better simply isn't true (and here's why).

We appreciate that the camera roll doesn't downsize pictures and you can enjoy them in full resolution.

Although I do really like the 8X's smooth lines, manageable footprint, and bright colors, the Nokia Lumia 920 has the more consistent camera and double the storage at half the price.

Samsung SIII received, but I'm not satisfied with the product quality is not enough, the material is quite simple, I do not recommend.

It's super fast, the UI is very fluid and responsive, and it's light with a large, well-lit screen.

As far as applications, most every application that I used on Android and iOS are present on WP8 or at least an equivalent that works the same, or in some cases better.

Live tiles, Web sites, and photos look great on the 8X's 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 display with its HD 1,280x720-pixel resolution (that's 342ppi, if you're wondering).
HTC 8X | Rated 83% by by c|net (Oct, 2012)

storage

HTC has carefully crafted the 8X's hardware, giving it an immersive screen, a fast processor, and a fair amount of internal storage.
HTC 8X | Rated 83% by by c|net (Oct, 2012)
The internal storage will come in three capacities - 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
Samsung Galaxy S III Dual core - 16GB - North American Edition | by GSM Arena (May, 2012)
The 8X's camera isn't quite as consistent (though some shots were better,) there's less storage space, and not every carrier will offer wireless charging.
HTC 8X | Rated 83% by by c|net (Oct, 2012)

size

While simply designed, the 8X's slim, sleek face and squared corners immediately draw you in.
HTC 8X | Rated 83% by by c|net (Oct, 2012)
The right side of the HTC Windows Phone 8X has the microSIM slot, the long and thin volume rocker and the dedicated camera key.
HTC 8X | by GSM Arena (Nov, 2012)
The HTC Windows Phone 8X looks super slim and is built to exceptional standards but we're sorry to say, its size was a source of disappointment.
HTC 8X | by GSM Arena (Nov, 2012)

Storage is scarce at 16GB, you won't be doing any vacation video/heavy gaming with this thing.
HTC 8X | Rated 100% by by Michael-Finn (Nov, 2012)

apps

The HTC Windows Phone 8X supports Beats Audio and you'll find the toggle deep in the settings menu, instead of the music player settings.
