I've used my S3 for a week now, and it works great in all functions, as a phone, and as internet instrument, via wi-fi and 3G.

Sunlight legibility is splendid too - the HD Super AMOLED isn't the brightest around, but its reflectivity is so low that even when outside in the brightest day, you'll still be able to make out what's on the screen quite clearly.

After all, the outdated assumption that the more megapixels you have the better simply isn't true (and here's why).

Performance Real world tests of Samsung Galaxy S III vs LG Nexus 4

cpu speed

1.5 GHz
Samsung seems to have done quite well here as the speed increase goes further than the 16% or so CPU frequency advantage that the Galaxy S III has over its predecessor.
Galaxy S III by GSM Arena (May, 2012)
In order to make great use of the average size 2200mAh battery Google/LG has put in a throttling system where if the Battery is certain temperature the CPU speed is clocked down to lower speed.
Nexus 4 by Henry (Feb, 2013)

talk time

700 min
900 min
The 3G talk time ended up the same as with the ICS-running Galaxy S III and is one of the best performers we have seen.
Galaxy S III by GSM Arena (Oct, 2012)
The phone will last you a day with light use (quick use of apps/widgets and plenty of texting/Facebook, with live wallpapers ON), 9 hours with moderate use (a few calls, some extended app use, and a GPS mapping trip), and 5 hours with heavy downloading, photo taking, and gameplaying.

Everything you do with the Galaxy S III starts and ends with its 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen, so it’s fitting that Samsung has sought to minimize the amount of material surrounding it.

Samsung's branded apps include the aforementioned AllShare Play, Kies Air for Wi-Fi sharing across devices, the games, music, and media hubs, and additional Samsung apps.

Truth is, while HSPA+ can be as fast as LTE, for the average consumer LTE is expected on high-end phones.

Samsung SIII received, but I'm not satisfied with the product quality is not enough, the material is quite simple, I do not recommend.

It's super fast, the UI is very fluid and responsive, and it's light with a large, well-lit screen.

The Nexus 4 is an HSPA+42 GSM based phone and for what it is, the performance is great.

The build quality of the phone is great.

format

Unfortunately, 8gb of space is pretty limited (even 16gb is kind of low), and there's no microSD slot to add more.
LG Nexus 4 | Rated 100% by by Danimal (Dec, 2012)
no SD card capability (if you store large amts of media, 16GB may run out quickly).
LG Nexus 4 | Rated 80% by by JAndroid (Feb, 2013)

storage

The only down side is the scarce storage (16GB) without an expansion sd card slot available, but that's hardly a problem if you consider how much it costs.
LG Nexus 4 | Rated 100% by by Fragni (Mar, 2013)

screen

There were a few times when colors on the Nexus 4 had warmer tones and less contrast, but these instances happened so rarely that it's difficult to make a call between the two.
LG Nexus 4 | Rated 78% by by c|net (Nov, 2012)

type

For those who don't mind that there is no expansion slot and only 16GB max of onboard memory and want the snappiest possible Android experience, this is the phone to get.
LG Nexus 4 | Rated 100% by by Harry-Chan--Harry

network technology

The major cons I can think of would be the all-glass body being a little bit of a 'fall and break' hazard, the lack of a memory expansion slot so you think long and hard before you decide to go with either the 8GB or the 16GB version and, not a 'con' to me but may be to some, the phone being GSM/HSPA+ only, not LTE compatible.
