Features Key features of the Sony Xperia Sola compared to the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2
GHz1
Android 2.3 Gingerbread 3.5G
Rated 100% by by Carey-A-Dehmer (Jan, 2013)I like the size and weight, compared to an iphone it is quite a bit lighter, which I like.
0.8 GHz
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean 3.5G
Rated 70% by by TrustedReviews (Aug, 2012)PLS is Samsung's take on IPS, the screen technology used in the iPhone 4S and HTC One X. Viewing angles are excellent, with just some loss of brightness when tilted to extremes in particular directions.
screen size
3.7"
3.8"
Xperia Sola by Luciano-Martins (Oct, 2012)The size of its screen is perfect, it is not too big so it can still be used single handed.
Galaxy Ace 2 by jlozano (Sep, 2012)The size is great, it's not too big, not too small and the screen is perfect enough.
screen resolution
Xperia Sola by GSM Arena (May, 2012)It's the kind of processed sharpness, which some might find overdone, but we did like the crisp, vibrant screen of the Xperia sola.
Galaxy Ace 2 by GSM Arena (Jul, 2012)Still colors are nicely balanced and the detail is enough for the Ace 2 to be considered a good shooter in times of need.
memory

processor
Xperia Sola by William-K.-Frank--wkfrank (Jan, 2013)The phone is right-sized, and with a dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM, it's smart enough for me.
Galaxy Ace 2 by Camilo (Apr, 2013)I'm quite pleased with this cell phone because it has many improvements over version S5830 (ACE), in terms of speed (since it is dual core), ergonomics, screen and graphics, also has more storage memory for applications (rather negative aspect in the ACE version).
camera resolution
| 0 MP | 5 MP | 5 MP |
Xperia Sola by Yris-Rodriguez--yrisrh (Nov, 2012)After reading wonders with this Xperia model, I can tell you is super fast compared to other teams in that range, has good internal memory, which frees you to be annoying and clearing the cache that, I like the camera is excellent resolution, the 50gb that give the download Box app.
Galaxy Ace 2 by Andres-Hernandez (Nov, 2012)Very good phone, excellent screen resolution, no lag whatsoever, and the camera does the job.
Performance Real world tests of Sony Xperia Sola vs Samsung Galaxy Ace 2
cpu speed
Xperia Sola by GSM Arena (May, 2012)The One V lacks the dual-core processing but has ICS right out of the box, so the perceivable performance is not too bad.
talk time
360 min
450 min
Xperia Sola by David-Bradshaw (Sep, 2012)battery was not that great before, but it seems worse (I am not using the battery saver thing, since it turns off networking when sleep, and that defeats the purpose of a smartphone).
Galaxy Ace 2 by GSM Arena (Jul, 2012)If you stick to 2G you get up to 16 h 20 min of talk time or 670 h of stand-by.
