I'm a beginner, but appreciate decent quality photos and videos! I love documenting all that I do so I need a decent camera for night and day shots, in all weathers.

Which is better, 7D or 5D mark II?
I want to shoot an indie film on one of these canons. THe story takes place at night. From what I hear, they are very similar, but what about panning?
