A question about SKYTEX Skytab S-series

I received a skytab for my birthday, have no clue what it can really do--the 'information packet' was extremely general, plus in 8 languages. I am trying to do a transfer form my 'old' laptop-a compaq with windows 7 and it's 64 bit. I would have thought that t would be 64 as well. anyway, the files will not transfer via wire transfer cable.....yes, I can use a disc for pics,etc...but it will also not support Microsoft 10, which all of my files are in 2010 format. Any thoughts? Thank you.

(the 320 gb was the deciding factor)
