Over all I am happy with the screen quality, size and features, but my guess is that they still need to do some work on the OS.

The Iconia has the screen real estate and the freedom of operation-big bonuses.

the iPad's screen resolution makes the game look demonstrably better than any Tegra 3 version I've seen so far.

The A510's 1-megapixel front-facing camera has your name written all over it, and as with most front-facing tablet cameras, it has little redeemable value beyond that function.

It too has a 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800-resolution display and dual cameras, but doubles the storage capacity to 32GB, comes equipped with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and joins the short list of tablets packing Nvidia’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor.

Acer charges $450 for a 32GB, quad-core tablet, and while that would have been impressive even a couple weeks back, now, with the Transformer TF300 out here, you can get the pretty much the same features - and some nifty exclusive ones - with better screen performance and better cameras for 50 bucks less.

My everyday use is a bit on the heavy side — web browsing, streaming music for a bit of background noise, a few hours of gaming — but the tablet kept on chugging for just about 10 hours.
Iconia Tab A510 by The Verge (May, 2012)
The weight of the tablet was another concern, because of the bigger battery life, it weighs more than some other tablets in this range.

The A510‘s 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800-resolution TFT display can’t keep up with IPS panels, which offer superior viewing angles and brighter displays.

Apps load quickly - about a hair faster than the TF300 - and we still get that great, smooth Tegra 3-induced, 60 frames per second screen transition effect when closing apps or swiping through apps and widgets.

It's either faster, sleeker, cheaper, a lot more functional, or a combination of the above-mentioned characteristics(the iPad 2 comes closest, but the non-expandable memory and the lack of usb port is a deal-breaker for me).

Feels solid, good graphics, no connection issues with WiFi or GPS, Camera takes better pictures than most tablet camera.

Solid build quality... I would recommend this tablet to anyone.

Screen

On half setting the screen is pleasant with high enough contrast to read everything and watch video.

The screen is crystal clear and the viewing angles are quite deep.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 | Rated 60% by by Marcin-Dabrowsky--MD (Apr, 2012)

Camera

The fixed-focus, one megapixel front facing camera is a bit off-center, listing just to the right of where your eyes might fall naturally.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 | Rated 65% by by The Verge (May, 2012)
There’s nothing wrong here besides the cameras — the build quality is generally very sturdy, it does everything a tablet is supposed to do, and includes Nvidia’s Tegra.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 | Rated 65% by by The Verge (May, 2012)
The A510 is bright, and if you’re looking at it dead-on, color reproduction is accurate and satisfying.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 | Rated 65% by by The Verge (May, 2012)

Apps

All apps downloaded okay (some apps do not work well, but that seems to be an issue with ICS that the developers are addressing).
Acer Iconia Tab A510 | Rated 100% by by Dave (Apr, 2012)
the screen is very reflective outdoor that not recommend for watching movies, and only boarderline accetable for reading apps.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 | Rated 80% by by SkyBlue-Snoopy (Apr, 2012)
If you sync the tablet to your Google account, it'll also sync the Acer Ring shortcuts to ALL the bookmarks you've saved to a Chrome that has also been synced to your Google account... in my case, well over 350.

Ports

Originally I thought I would have no use for the micro HDMI and USB ports, but I was wrong and have found them to add additional functionality to an already great tablet.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 | Rated 100% by by M.-Fisher (Apr, 2012)
Audio is incredible but for best sound when using hdmi out, you must turn off dolby mobile or else it will be very scratchy.

HDMI and USB ports work well with all my devices.

Operating system

So the Full Polaris office software being included is very good, I haven't used any other software that allows you to so easily open and edit Microsoft Office files including Powerpoint, Excel, and Word.
