I'm thrilled that Samsung decided its tablets make perfect remote controls, because it's absolutely correct — you probably already have it on your lap, plus it has a big screen, internet connectivity, and all manner of cool apps.

Lovely display and a very responsive screen though I have fairly large fingers so I expect it will take some time for me to get precise.

Compared with the Tab 10.1, the difference between images and video recorded on the front camera was quickly apparent.

The front camera is vga, thats right, thats what cell phones came with when they first started getting cameras... Wow... Thats sad... They must have had a surplus laying around and didn't know what to do with them.

Like the 7.0, it has solid but unspectacular specs (a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 1280 x 800 TFT display, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, dual cameras), plus Android 4.0, all for a very reasonable $399.99.

I did a side-by-side comparison with my HP DV7 quad core laptop, and it loads pages almost as fast.

We get hands-on with Samsung's new affordable Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.

This isn't a bad display by any stretch, but now that I've seen screens that don't have jaggies on text or slightly yellowish tints on whites, and screens where even tiny text is readable and dark movies look amazing, making those sacrifices with the Tab 2 is a little hard to justify.

Miller/CNET). The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 trades in its predecessor's 2-megapixel front camera for a VGA one, and while it retains a 3-megapixel rear camera, the LED support light has been exorcised.

The only browser that is good for watching integrated video is the chrome browser, and even that has issues (can't even compare with the ipad 2 when it comes to watching integrated video).

The SG 2 7.0 with the same specs is not the same tablet with respect to the sharpness and brightness of the screen, performance, and even how some of the software presents.

The stock music player runs very well with Album Art, audio settings, the usual settings one expects in a good music player and it is very easy to create new Playlists on it.

The integration between the Xbox and the tablet is awesome, being able to use my tv screen by having my Xbox on and controlling music, video and picture slides from the tablet is amazing and it makes everything so easy.

The device itself looks and feels nice in your hands, even with the plastic back.-Front facing stereo speakers are a nice addition, unlike the other tablets I've seen.-Battery life seems decent so far.
