It feels really good in the hand and the rear camera is surprisingly good.

I think 7' is the right size for almost everything (I use it to see movies and the screen size is plenty).
Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus by atejedor (Feb, 2012)
In fact, the top- and bottom-edge navigation was a lot easier to get to on a display this size than the larger Honeycomb tablets.

Higher screen resolution (it's not bad at all).

The cameras are great - very high resolution for a tablet.

The 3-megapixel rear camera won't replace your point-and-shoot or even a nicer smartphone, but provided you hold steady, you can get some decent stills.

Thinner, lighter, slimmer, sleekerCompare this: Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus vs. Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet, and more Not everything is an upgrade The full Honeycomb experience with minimal TouchWiz Use the 7.0 Plus as a universal remote for your home theater A snappy dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB RAM — but still intermittent stutters A worthy but imperfect upgrade "Samsung's tablets are like fitted suits.
Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus by The Verge (Nov, 2011)
Samsung thankfully gave the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, which means there isn't much we can throw at the device that it can't handle.

cpu speed

Samsung's custom processor allows fast and fluid navigation.
Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus by Harley-Head
Consider the $200-250 range gets you a tablet with minimal on board storage and slower processors, the uptick in price is appropriate, especially considering the quality of the build.

When I do need to charge the tablet, it doesn't make that sound that it, normally, made when it is about to be charge.

Battery life is not good if I watch video its gone within 2-3 hours.

The lens was even pretty adept at taking macro shots.

Wifi performance was great as well, never losing signal in my house; Everything right down to the sleek form factor of this tablet was perfect.

I don't know if Samsung used a different material or if the smaller size gives it a sturdier feel, but this is premium quality as far as plastic goes.
Rated 100% by by Q (Feb, 2012)
Overall: This tablet is highly recommended for people who plan to use it to browse the internet, check email, listen to music, read ebooks/documents, and watch videos.

Screen

The screen was gorgeous and Samsung's TouchWiz user interface is top notch with actual useful widgets, not just useless eye candy.

I love my iPod 4G Touch, but my single old eye is getting older.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus 32 GB | Rated 80% by by Hermit58--hermit58
It's not perfect — the viewing angles could be much better and there's some menu stuttering here and there — but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus does everything its larger siblings can do but in an even more portable format, which is in and of itself and achievement.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus 32 GB | Rated 70% by by The Verge (Nov, 2011)

Apps

Samsung also inserted their custom user interface "TouchWiz," which consists of some added features (like an extra tray with quick apps) and a few pre-installed apps.

Even when I am uploading music to the Google Music Cloud from my PC which simultaneously syncs it to the Google Music App on my tablet, it moves nicely.

This is my first Android device, and I love the control that I have compared to the iOS devices I have owned.

The dual core is fast and while it took a while to get used to the new honeycomb Android system, I now work through it seamlessly and enjoy the improvements.

Android's tablet OS is far superior to iOS on the iPad so I thought I had made a great purchase.

Operating system

That's a Skype issue and keep in mind that Skype is now owned by Microsoft so I think its days on any other platform (Apple, Linux or Android) are numbered.

At this time I would recommend steering clear of the Samsung tablets and hope for better software support with another brand.

It's a bit odd to ship a new device with outdated software, and not even offer an update.
