Tablet P by ElViejo (Oct, 2012)When the P arrived in the U.S., I was turned off the exorbitant price and the small screen size.
Tablet P by c|net (Mar, 2012)While they can be played or watched on the small 5.5-inch screen, taking them full-screen makes them look a lot less impressive as they stretch to fit into a completely square aspect ratio.
screen resolution
Tablet P by The Verge (Mar, 2012)For the Tablet P to really work as more than just a console, Sony would also have to convince every developer in the Android Market to code a version of their app that makes sense on the dual-screened form factor — the apps that aren't optimized become a pretty poor experience thanks to the odd screen resolutions and the difficulty of accessing the top screen while holding the device.
Tablet P by The Verge (Mar, 2012)I don't love the displays' resolution, either, because it means videos have black borders on the right and left as you watch 16:9 video, but video still looks pretty good.

Tablet P by c|net (Mar, 2012)Images and video recorded with the front camera looked washed-out and lacked detail.
Tablet P by c|net (Mar, 2012)The Vita also supports Web browsing, 3G, apps (like Facebook, Twitter, and Netflix), a capacitive touch screen, and dual cameras (albeit both at VGA resolution).
processor
Tablet P by c|net (Mar, 2012)The Tablet P houses the usual Android tablet suspects, including Nvidia's dual-core Tegra 2 CPU and 1GB of RAM, but includes only a paltry 4GB of storage.
Tablet P by The Verge (Mar, 2012)The 1GHz, dual-core Tegra 2 processor inside the Tablet P was for a time the standard Android tablet chip, and with good reason: even though it’s not exactly bleeding-edge anymore, it's extremely capable, running almost everything I did on the tablet without so much as a hiccup.

cpu speed
Tablet P by The Verge (Mar, 2012)We’ve been hearing about the Tablet P for more than a year, originally as the Tablet S2, and now it’s finally available: the clamshell device has two 5.5-inch displays, a Tegra 2 processor, dual cameras, Android 3.2, and data connectivity through AT&T's HSPA+ network.

Tablet P by TrustedReviews (Mar, 2012)The five megapixel rear camera produces poor results with heavily pixelated images even in good light (though in fairness this is somewhat typical of tablets still) and the battery life lasted well under seven hours – not appalling but short of the competition.
Tablet P by TrustedReviews (Mar, 2012)A further downside is the use of a proprietary charge port rather than microUSB and the surprising need for a power brick on the charger cable – 'maximum portability' indeed.

Screen
Sony Tablet P | Rated 60% by by c|net (Mar, 2012)Dual screens on a tablet is a pretty exciting concept, but does having two screens improve or hinder the tablet experience?
Sony Tablet P | Rated 60% by by TrustedReviews (Mar, 2012)The screens themselves are also of wonderful quality and the whole device has a premium feel.
Sony Tablet P | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Mar, 2012)If you try to use Angry Birds on both screens, the middle of the screen — where all the action is — gets cut off by the bezel, so the game becomes really hard to play.
Apps
Sony Tablet P | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Mar, 2012)There’s also a quick-launch menu of sorts and a Favorites menu, which give you quick access to your most-used apps and bookmarks — that's nice, though it doesn't seem any more efficient than just adding bookmarks and apps to your homescreen.
Sony Tablet P | Rated 60% by by c|net (Mar, 2012)The games are more expensive, but arguably provide better experiences as well.
Sony Tablet P | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Mar, 2012)With most apps, you get the option to either use it on the top screen, or on both; normally for web pages or apps like Twitter, it'd be great to have as much vertical space as possible.
Operating system
Sony Tablet P | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Mar, 2012)There's some stuff to like, of course — multitasking is solid, for one — but Honeycomb's just not a great operating system.
Sony Tablet P | Rated 60% by by c|net (Mar, 2012)Web and app download speeds matched most other Android tablets when within 5 feet of our test router; even up to 20 feet away, it retained much of its strength.
Sony Tablet P | Rated 60% by by TrustedReviews (Mar, 2012)On the software front the Tablet P has Android 3.2 at its core (the tablet edition of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is still some way off), and Sony has used the same subtle skin seen on the Tablet S. Again any performance impact seems minimal and additional transition animations make the navigational experience far more fluid than stock Android 3.
Type
Sony Tablet P | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Mar, 2012)The browser is a particularly bright spot, handling image-heavy sites (like this one) better than most Android devices, especially with respect to pinch-and-zoom: it wasn't perfect, but it was far better than the stock browser typically does.
Sony Tablet P | Rated 60% by by TrustedReviews (Mar, 2012)This means many of Sony's Android PlayStation titles can run in the top screen while controls are sat in the bottom screen and the clamshell form factor means it can bend into a far more comfortable natural gaming position.
Sony Tablet P | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Mar, 2012)Gaming consoles meet Android tablets Two displays, 11 inches of screenSony's better at building cameras than it shows here Honeycomb needs to be left behind even more than Gingerbread Last year's internals still work well — mostly Even if its specs were high-end, the Tablet P wouldn't be In a market riddled with similar slates, no one's going to accuse Sony of adopting a copycat tablet strategy.
Camera
Sony Tablet P | Rated 80% by by ElViejo (Oct, 2012)Functionality: The 5 meg back camera is a decent camera.
Sony Tablet P | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Mar, 2012)The smooth case is interrupted only by the slightly protruding hinge, the camera lens, and four tiny feet that make the tablet sit upright even though its back is rounded.
Sony Tablet P | Rated 55% by by The Verge (Mar, 2012)It’s frustrating to see such a lackluster effort from a company that builds world-class camera parts, and an excellent camera could have really set Sony’s tablets apart — it seems like Sony also knows people don’t care about their tablet cameras.
