Rated 40% by by B.-Mullins--Digital-Rebel (Apr, 2011)In the iPad's case, I feel they did the opposite: they oversold it's abilities, touting dual-core ships, 9x better graphics etc., when in fact none of that really matters at the only pace the interface allows.
Rated 100% by by Stephen-Shamblin (Jul, 2010)The screen is exceptionally bright and the touch screen works superb.

iPad 2 by S.-JentschPeople loved the small size of netbooks, but the keyboards and displays were often too small.
iPad 1 by Jeffrey-Stanley (Jul, 2010)It isn't really better than iPhone for viewing messages, but viewing attachments on the big screen is worlds better.
screen resolution
iPad 2 by S.-Lir (Feb, 2012)On another note, I am happy that Samsung manufactures the retina display for Apple.
iPad 1 by Richard-Stone--Unity-New-Thought (Feb, 2011)I also understand that much of the speed will be used to run a high-resolution screen which probably will negate any apparent gains in operating speed.

processor
iPad 2 by GabrielArg (Jun, 2011)I agree that because applications are similar and they both share the same iOS, the experience might not seem that different, but once you get your hands on it, the bigger screen, the dual core processor, larger memory and longer battery result in much much better overall experience.
iPad 1 by MiRSD (Jun, 2010)Much like the iPhone, almost everything needs to be done through iTunes (transferring movies and music, updating, syncing), so those of you who hate the program will need to just suck it up for this one (even on my newer quad-core PC iTunes is a big resource hog, so I understand the pain)!

iPad 2 by c|net (Mar, 2011)The iPad's device features, such as Bluetooth 2.1 (A2DP, EDR), Wi-Fi 802.11 n, 3G, and 10 hours of battery life, are all here, and in many cases are still the bar by which other tablets are judged.
