While the Prime's IPS screen was immediately clear and sharp when first we powered it on, it was the screen transitions that really impressed us.

Dark detailing is good (if not quite perfect) and blacks are deep, all without compromising the brilliantly bright whites.

Camera, 8mp back and front camera is good enough for face time.-Was able to playback 1080p videos pretty smoothly.
Eee Pad Transformer Prime by Doh (Dec, 2011)
though the front camera is really important for me as I would rarely/never use a back cam on a tab.

This machine is not really a quad core... IT'S A FIVE C0RE!! Four performance cores and companion core which takes care of a lot of the system overhead.
Eee Pad Transformer Prime by Alan-McGaughey (Jan, 2012)
Fantastic performance - The four cores fired up and Nvidia tegra 3 kicked into play when in turned on Horn - butter smooth gameplay, great textures, rich world detail, smooth edges.

My wife has an iPad 2 that she also got recently, and while I am impressed by both devices, the Prime has won me over with its insane processor speed and beautiful display.
Eee Pad Transformer Prime by romy (Dec, 2011)
This tablet comes equipped with the latest Tegra 3 processor, with higher clock speeds than what's in the Transformer Prime as well as the TF-300.

After reading all the hype about the quad core cpu, awesome speed, and how this is the best tablet to hit the markets, I've had to return mine today.

Speed: I would have thought with a quad core CPU that the device would be fast.

I cannot be happier with how games, email, and note-taking are so easy for my husband to do on this tablet.

I really love this tablet, excellent harware, amazing display, good locking, fast reponse, android 4.

Regardless of what other reviewers say, you can still type fast on this, especially once you get used to the layout (which you quickly do), as it is still a good keyboard with precise touch response.

The equivalent 4th gen iPad would be $172 more with no functional advantage other than slightly higher screen res.
