I have used Ipads and frankly the addition of the keyboard, quad core and ease of memory expansion puts the ASUS ahead.

This would be a great feature for designers and artists, or even those who like handwritten notes, and would complement the Retina Display very nicely.

Coming back to the Asus, What makes it a really good tablet.... It has a really good screen too, I feel it's more than enough for a display of this size.
Eee Pad Transformer TF300 by Sathish (Aug, 2012)
The big screen makes it fun to take pictures or videos as I recently did at the National Air and Space Museum.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF300

It's not a super high resolution display, so the individual pixels are pretty good sized, and this was pretty noticeable.

This a Great product, the retina display is simple great, much more stable because of the memory and the graphics in games are much better.

The front camera has less pixels and isn't as great, but is perfect for video calls and gets the job done.

I'm really disappointed Apple didn't improve the front camera.

To be honest i truly loved the Xoom which is why i decided to upgraded heck if 2 cores are great 4 must be incredible.

Featuring an Apple designed Dual-core A5X, low power, high performance processor, the 1.44 pound (1.46 pounds for the Wi-Fi + 4G) iPad 3 is a tad thinner than the iPad 2, though the screen size stays the same.

Another nice perk is that if you buy into the Verizon version, not only do you get your LTE service on the iPad, but you also can use the device as a wireless hotspot at no extra charge (AT&T says they're working on it, but they don't offer the same luxury).

3D games ran fast and smooth on this tablet.

Being mainly an iOS user I was very skeptical going into Android (with all the bugs, lag and other stuff I've heard about), but this tab doesn't have any issues at all!

As Apple advertises, if you look closely at, say, someone with a white shirt in a photo on the iPad 2 you can actually see the display pixels, which obviously limits the sharpness of the photo.

This is a major flaw because I would love to see the life of these getting points and an easily changeable screen.

If I attempt to sync the apps using itunes, then itunes will attempt to sync ALL apps that I have purchased, including apps for the iphone that are not meant to work on the ipad, which results in the sync canceling itself and only about 3 apps being installed.

resolution

For example, I have no issue with the screen resolution or brightness on this, but I can only imagine how awesome that Retina display must look on the iPad 3.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF300 32 GB | Rated 80% by by SineLanguage (May, 2012)
The display is good, but not enough to compete with the retina display that the Ipad 3 has.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF300 32 GB | Rated 100% by by Josh (Apr, 2012)
I was concerned about the screen resolution and quality, especially after hearing about the improved screen resolution for Apple's iPad 3 and the upcoming Transformer Prime 700.

type

I'm happy with my purchase but if you want an Android tablet closer to all the iPad 3's specs you probably want to wait for that one.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF300 32 GB | Rated 80% by by SineLanguage (May, 2012)
Even owning an iPad 3, I don't really notice the difference much (Android tends to prefer clean lines in interfaces, making the pixel differences less noticeable).
Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF300 32 GB | Rated 80% by by Christopher-Lee (Jul, 2012)
However, while smooth, Ice Cream Sandwich does not currently match up perfectly against my experience with iOS on my iPad 3 (screw "the new).

screen

Yet with all the convenience a tablet has over a laptop I've been waiting for this retina screen and pre ordered my first tablet a Black 16Gb 4G At&t on the first day of release.

format

Just bought this a week ago and was originally looking at the Ipad 3 but thought i'd try this one first because for a hundred dollars less than the Ipad 3 basic model, I was getting twice the storage space at 32gb vs 16gb, with the capability of expanding even farther with an SD card.
