My wife has an iPad 2 that she also got recently, and while I am impressed by both devices, the Prime has won me over with its insane processor speed and beautiful display.

The resolution and contrast on the IPS panel are about as impressive as on the previous Transformer or the Asus Slider, but the new Super IPS mode+ increased the brightness up to 570 candelas per square meter (cd/m2), which is the highest brightness we've yet seen on a tablet and makes reading in direct sunlight a bit more tolerable than on other LCD tablets.

Coming back to the Asus, What makes it a really good tablet.... It has a really good screen too, I feel it's more than enough for a display of this size.

I love the screen size and how thin it feels.

The new IPS+ high resolution screen is superb, the faster processor is welcome, the TF700 feels better constructed overall than the TF300, (partly due to being primarily made of metal), and having a built in flash for the rear camera is a nice extra too.
Eee Pad Transformer TF300 by Darren
The resolution of the screen is very impressive and colors are displayed vibrantly.

The front camera has less pixels and isn't as great, but is perfect for video calls and gets the job done.

For the price of $400 dollars for this tablet with 32gb of storage, you're getting a light sleek tablet with a quad-core processor and excellent battery life.
Eee Pad Transformer TF300 by Debbie-Dvora (May, 2012)
This machine is not really a quad core... IT'S A FIVE C0RE!! Four performance cores and companion core which takes care of a lot of the system overhead.

Web browsing is quite fast (I use Dolphin browser), and once I updated Adobe Flash, flash within web pages works great.

the tablet is blazingly fast regardless of what it's doing and i recently installed the chrome beta to use instead of dolphin/stock that i had been alternating between before and i noticed huge speed increases over what i already thought was rather fast load times from the.

Heavy users that game, watch videos use wfi, bluetooth, GPS and connect external devices (like hard drives) will be able to make it through the daylight hours before they need a charge if it's set to balanced power setting.

Being mainly an iOS user I was very skeptical going into Android (with all the bugs, lag and other stuff I've heard about), but this tab doesn't have any issues at all!

The new Transformer Prime isn't sacrificing quality for quantity with its move to a much higher pixel density - its display is still made of the SuperIPS+ stuff that impressed us so much when reviewing the TF201.
