I have an Android smartphone and have played around with my brother's iPad, so I got spoiled from the clarity, speed and sleek design that this tablet obviously does not have.

This is a great intro tab and obviously isn't a vizio or galaxy s tab but video is crystal clear and screen responds well with touch or stylus.

Works perfectly, the size is very nice and I bought this HDE 7" Tablet Stand with USB Keyboard - Black Faux Leather Carrying Case for it as well, works great with it!

It's MUCH better than other tablets in it's price range for the picture and sound quality, but it could be a little better with it's responsiveness to touch.

The tablet does have a resistive display, which, along with some other considerations resulted in my exchanging it for its big brother, the 8127.

It is nice and compact, has a nice weight to it and the icons on the screen are large and easy to use.

Coby finally is going to get it totally right~ They will offer Android 4.0, Dual Core Processor, 1GB of Ram, and a far larger internal flash memory.
Kyros 7" by M.-Gehret--G-Man-Colorado
The clarity is superb and the load times are decent enough when keeping in mind the 800mhz processor.

Performance Real world tests of Coby Kyros 7" MID7012 vs MID7127

cpu speed

0.8 GHz
The quality is very good it's a solid unit No rattles if you shake it the buttons seem pretty sturdy, the speed was also impressive its not on the same level as say a core duo but it would give the best celeron processors a run for its money, fast streaming youtube videos.
Kyros 7" by Robert-M (Jun, 2012)
Not satisfied with that, I also rooted the device using SuperOneClick v2.3.3 (might require pressing the reset button on the back), and installed CPU Tuner from the market, and got about another 10% speed boost by setting it to Simple.

Wifi is the only way to communicate with the world so I installed text plus gold and now they can text each other, and my wife and I. Amazing how fast an 8 year old can type now compared to when we were kids.

It can do ebooks well, youtube suprisingly well, simple games and web pages well.

The actual function of the tablet was acceptable for the price, but obviously durability or quality is suspect.

I really like my Coby It does what I wanted it to do The only draw back is it does not have Adobe flash in it I did not realize that at the time I purchased it or I would of found another brand of model that did have it installed into the product Coby Kyros 7-Inch Android 2.3 4 GB Internet Tablet with Capacitive Touchscreen - MID7022-4G (Black).
