The 1.3-pound iPad's 2048 x 1536 Retina display is still among the best we've seen on a tablet — I'd say the best, but the Nexus 10's display is also pretty great.

Not only is the 7" more affordable than the full size tablets, its the perfect fit for your hand and the screen is more than big enough.

I am very happy with my Apple iPad and its amazing Retina display but there are times that I do not want to carry a heaver 10inch tablet around and so I waited for the arrival of Apple's iPad Mini.

The front camera is 1.2 megapixels, and the quality of it puts the one on my Apple devices to shame (I'm only talking about the front camera, the back camera on the iPad is far superior to this one).

The integrated camera has excellent resolution, as does the video.

The battery lasts pretty long, even with wifi turned on, It remained for over a week with low usage and a full day with heavy gaming and video streaming.

A few accessories I recommend are a USB adaptor which lets you expand storage by using a thumb drive, a bluetooth speaker like the JBL Flip (great for music streaming and watching movies) on the Nexus 7 and a case (the Blurex N7 case is great).
