The 1,280x800-pixel resolution packed into a 7-inch display gives visuals like text and graphics a sharper look than what I'm typically used to seeing on most 7-inchers.

No it is not the fastest thing out there but if you want something for email, FB, watching movies, a few games, reading books, and the simple normal tablet functions this works great.

Text and images look crisp and clear on the 7-inch screen — not Retina display quality, but not too far off either.

Not only is the 7" more affordable than the full size tablets, its the perfect fit for your hand and the screen is more than big enough.
Nexus 7 by Shaun-Russell (Jan, 2013)
So I purchased the 10-Inch Coby Kyros so that I have something small yet big enough to display images and photos to clients during meetings.

I am very happy with my Apple iPad and its amazing Retina display but there are times that I do not want to carry a heaver 10inch tablet around and so I waited for the arrival of Apple's iPad Mini.
Nexus 7 by chrisvioxxx (Dec, 2012)
Even so, the screen is colorful, and has good resolution (800x480).

The front camera is 1.2 megapixels, and the quality of it puts the one on my Apple devices to shame (I'm only talking about the front camera, the back camera on the iPad is far superior to this one).
Nexus 7 by Thaddeus-Cultt (Oct, 2012)
The screen resolution is terrible, the camera does not work while video chatting, the battery drains very quickly and the specs are very misleading as it relates to the amount of gb.

Quality is excellent and the screen resolution is higher than the ipad mini, which doesn't have the retina display.

The battery lasts pretty long, even with wifi turned on, It remained for over a week with low usage and a full day with heavy gaming and video streaming.

Rated 60% by by Maxx-Creese--maxximuscree (Feb, 2013)
It doesn't have ALL the buzzes and whistles of a larger far more expensive unit, but for it's size, AND it's very reasonable price, it more than meets my needs!! I recommend it for simple, everyday tasks (e-mail, web browsing, shopping, etc.)!
