The 1.24-pound Tab 10.1 feels lighter in hand than the 1.33-pound iPad; in actual use, however — holding it up to read, etc. — I'd say that weight difference isn't all that obvious.

The sppd on 3g is great for me also and wonder how much more it could improve with 4g really.

I also have a hot spot feature on my phone that I can enable when I'm out of range of free wi-fi - that allows me to get updates on my Xoom anywhere there is a 3G/4G connection for my phone.

The sky isn't as vivid a blue as the real thing, and zooming-in on these shots shows they don't offer enough detail to print out at a decent size.

I give xoom five stars for its well felt high build quality, which includes the high res screen, two high def cameras a, 2 speakers, and hdmi/future-sd interfaces.

so far I like it not that fast but good enough nice colors on screen I wish they wouldhave put a better instruction manual with it.

I've been playing with it for at least 5 hours during the day and the battery is still going strong (I didn't charge it out of the box).

In short, if you like to read and love using iTunes and buy a lot of stuff from iTunes anyway, iPad2 would be better.
Rated 100% by by Tiger (Apr, 2011)
Although you can still copy and play all the stuff you bought from iTunes (unless it's DRM-protected) on the Xoom, if you like the way your iTunes work with your current Ipod, iPad2 might be better for you.
Rated 100% by by Tiger (Apr, 2011)
The only thing Xoom has extra is a USB or HDMI port.
Rated 60% by by xoxo--woodfairy (Jul, 2012)

brightness

I'll be honest...the transformer is probably the best display out there (that hasn't been artificially enhanced-Galaxy Tab 10.1) and let me tell you....this xoom...the one I'm typing on....looks just as good to me, minus the fact the screen can't get as awesomely and overly bright as the Asus.

screen

Just try to hold something as heavy as the Xoom with the your thumb and forefinger on one hand for minutes on end (your other hand will be busy touching the screen, so don't cheat and use two hands to hold it).

focus

Now will wait for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, Sam-sung has a great deal of focus on picture quality.
