This tablet is also much more battery efficient than my previous tablet (a Sony S) which would run out of battery incredibly quickly.

Samsung never uses particularly high-end materials, but it builds its tablets really well, and the Tab 2 feels sturdy and solid, without any bending or creaking to speak of.

Lovely display and a very responsive screen though I have fairly large fingers so I expect it will take some time for me to get precise.

Like the 7.0, it has solid but unspectacular specs (a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 1280 x 800 TFT display, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, dual cameras), plus Android 4.0, all for a very reasonable $399.99.

The only browser that is good for watching integrated video is the chrome browser, and even that has issues (can't even compare with the ipad 2 when it comes to watching integrated video).

The android developers do have some improvements to make but overall they have done a pretty good job especially with Android 4.1Jelly Bean.

Ipad can't compete with this screen for brightness and as far as the resolution, unless you are looking at them side by side under perfect conditions it's almost impossible to tell the difference.
