Rated 77% by by The Verge (Apr, 2012)The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 competes instead with the Kindle Fire and the Nook Tablet, and unless you're a heavy reader or love the particular interfaces of those two tablets, the Tab 2 is probably a better buy right now.
Rated 100% by by S.-JentschPeople loved the small size of netbooks, but the keyboards and displays were often too small.
Conclusion Which is better for you?

iOS 5
Rated 100% by by Tommy-Sixx-Morais (Jul, 2012)The size is one of the best thing about the Ipad, it's neither too big nor too small and the screen is big, bright and clear and there's just so much you can do.

Galaxy Tab 2 by Martin-S.-Brown--Marty-B (Jun, 2012)Great size - if you want a screen bigger than your phone, but small enough to read a book upon, the seven inch tablet form factor is great.
iPad 2 by Airforcekid (Jul, 2011)The screen is great for reading in dark and well lighted areas and the text unless very small is easy to read.
screen resolution
Galaxy Tab 2 by Mr.-Cody (Oct, 2012)It is a very portable device and has a great screen resolution that allows you to read and watch movies.
iPad 2 by S.-Lir (Feb, 2012)On another note, I am happy that Samsung manufactures the retina display for Apple.

processor
iPad 2 by GabrielArg (Jun, 2011)I agree that because applications are similar and they both share the same iOS, the experience might not seem that different, but once you get your hands on it, the bigger screen, the dual core processor, larger memory and longer battery result in much much better overall experience.

Galaxy Tab 2 by Rory (Sep, 2012)The resolution is great and my children enjoy watching movies on long trips to Kona, about 2&1/2 hours.
iPad 2 by c|net (Mar, 2011)The iPad's device features, such as Bluetooth 2.1 (A2DP, EDR), Wi-Fi 802.11 n, 3G, and 10 hours of battery life, are all here, and in many cases are still the bar by which other tablets are judged.
