Rated 80% by by Graymer (Apr, 2013)I love the size of the screen and it doesn't feel like it will fall a part.
Rated 100% by by Colby (May, 2012)3 days after X-mas, I dropped my brand new iPod 4G on a stone-tile floor (about 3-4 feet up) and it shattered (Apple replaced it free of charge :D), yet I'd still give the iPod 4G a 4.5/5 in durability.
Conclusion Which is better for you?

Windows 7 Professional
Rated 100% by by Boris-Lokhvitsky (Nov, 2011)Very nice bright screen; camera and audio are not brilliant but pretty decent; battery life is not amazing but not bad either.

Series 7 11.6" Slate by Wally-Asti--amazon (Feb, 2012)But you can't have a large screen with a small tablet!
iPad 2 by S.-JentschPeople loved the small size of netbooks, but the keyboards and displays were often too small.
screen resolution
Series 7 11.6" Slate by Zhou-Zhiliang--Joe (Jun, 2012)The slate claims to have 11 in screen, sounds big, but actually due to its non regular shape and resolution, I found a lot of webpages cannot be displayed correctly if used vertically, it can only display part of web on the screen and you have to move the slide bar left and right to see the whole website, very inconvenient.
iPad 2 by S.-Lir (Feb, 2012)On another note, I am happy that Samsung manufactures the retina display for Apple.

Series 7 11.6" Slate by Patrick-Byers (Mar, 2012)I had a webcam in 1998 that produced better video and still pictures than the camera on this system.
iPad 2 by Vincent-E.-Martin--Darkbard (Mar, 2011)The front camera can also be used for (VGA) video recording of up to 30 frames per second with audio, as well as still camera pictures.
processor
Series 7 11.6" Slate by Steve--lukkystarr (May, 2012)With a dual core processor it was adequate for it's intended purpose, which was to be as paperless as possible.
iPad 2 by GabrielArg (Jun, 2011)I agree that because applications are similar and they both share the same iOS, the experience might not seem that different, but once you get your hands on it, the bigger screen, the dual core processor, larger memory and longer battery result in much much better overall experience.
Performance Real world tests of Samsung Series 7 11.6" Slate vs Apple iPad 2
cpu speed
Series 7 11.6" Slate by Brad (Jan, 2012)The screen looks great (especially next to the Asus slate) and the processor is best-in-class.
iPad 2 by Leo-StarkSpeed: the iPad is super quick with its A5 processor, running apps like a charm and browsing the Internet sometimes faster than my laptop.
sunspider 0.9.1 benchmark
Series 7 11.6" Slate by Nacho (Apr, 2012)It may not be as great as a cheaper tablet for mobile gaming (not sure how well the integrated GPU handles recent windows games which probably are not designed for a touchscreen anyhow, and it lacks the gyroscope), but for web browsing, music playing, online video watching and kindle reading it also does a better job than the cheaper tablets due to its higher performance and full uncapped web browsing experience (Flash, Silverlight, HTML5... watch Hulu or Netflix without an app).
battery life
7 hour
10 hour
Series 7 11.6" Slate by singing-engineer (May, 2012)After 10 weeks daily use, I can say that for my applications (I don't play games or watch videos) I get about 5 hours of use from a charge, a 30min 'refresh' at lunch time gives me an extra 2 hours each day.
iPad 2 by c|net (Mar, 2011)The iPad's device features, such as Bluetooth 2.1 (A2DP, EDR), Wi-Fi 802.11 n, 3G, and 10 hours of battery life, are all here, and in many cases are still the bar by which other tablets are judged.
