SD and USB Card Slot; WHY IN THE WORLD, have we accepted otherwise?! For a photographer, this is awesome, I can take pics and look at them on a nice, large screen (as long as they are JPG, haven't test Nikon).

I'm beginning to think it's probably easier to build a thin, 10.1-inch tablet than it is a 7-inch one that's equally as thin.

Android 3.2 Honeycomb

At 7.87mm thick, the Tab 7.7 is barely a tenth of a millimeter thicker than the Toshiba Excite 10 LE, the thinnest tablet we’ve seen yet, and Toshiba would do well to take a page from Samsung's book with regards to build quality — Toshiba trades quality for thinness in ways Samsung obviously doesn’t have to.

Hell, even the keyboard on the display is very nice size for my fat fingers.

The review ***For me, Thrive beats Galaxy Tab and Acer Iconia*** has a lot more details about the assorted features and is the main reason I purchased the Toshiba Thrive!

The 7.0 Plus's 7-inch screen has a 1,024x600-pixel resolution and uses Samsung's proprietary Plane-Line Switching (PLS) panel technology.

Front camera good for Skype (even the current Skype version for Android can be better).
Thrive 10" Tablet by Viktor (Dec, 2011)
Images and video recorded with the front camera looked as if there were a deliberate film grain placed over it, and not in a cool, artsy kind of way, but more of the, "Hey, there seems to be some film grain on this video, can we please get rid of it?

The internet and processor speeds are really amazing.

You get about 6 hours of solid use out of one charge so 3 batts give me about 18 hours of unwired use.
Thrive 10" Tablet by TriggerhippY (Nov, 2012)
The former is a much more understandable decision given the tablet's size but the latter is agrrevating as it means you always need that cable and that cable only to charge this device.

The display is moderately bright and readable from any angle so long as glare doesn't get in the way, and responds to touch as quickly as any of its Honeycomb peers, though still well behind the likes of Apple's iPad 2.

It's not as fast as the iPad, but still quite good (and still better than my home Wi-Fi at points).
