The 1.24-pound Tab 10.1 feels lighter in hand than the 1.33-pound iPad; in actual use, however — holding it up to read, etc. — I'd say that weight difference isn't all that obvious.

The sky isn't as vivid a blue as the real thing, and zooming-in on these shots shows they don't offer enough detail to print out at a decent size.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 by TrustedReviews (Mar, 2012)
The resolution of the screen is very impressive and colors are displayed vibrantly.

This machine is not really a quad core... IT'S A FIVE C0RE!! Four performance cores and companion core which takes care of a lot of the system overhead.

My wife has an iPad 2 that she also got recently, and while I am impressed by both devices, the Prime has won me over with its insane processor speed and beautiful display.

The 3 megapixel camera and its LED flash are positioned on the on the top rear of the slab, and it's actually one of the better shooters I've seen on a tablet.

Asus may have produced a brilliant piece of engineering at a price that's competitive with the iPad, but Android hasn't yet matched iOS when it comes to unlocking all that potential.

Viewing angles are great, contrast is excellent and colour reproduction is very vivid.

Dark detailing is good (if not quite perfect) and blacks are deep, all without compromising the brilliantly bright whites.

Taking another page from the iPad 2's school of sexy tablet building, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has one of the cleanest designs we've seen in a tablet.

While the Prime's IPS screen was immediately clear and sharp when first we powered it on, it was the screen transitions that really impressed us.

so far I like it not that fast but good enough nice colors on screen I wish they wouldhave put a better instruction manual with it.

Much better then iPad if you leave the currently available apps out of the picture(in particular Netflix), I presume as far as the apps are concerned it's only a matter of time before android tablet apps catch up with iPad tablet apps in terms of numbers.

I've been playing with it for at least 5 hours during the day and the battery is still going strong (I didn't charge it out of the box).

One concern is some of the applications I use, are still not updated to ICS tablet screens, so they stretch to fit the screen.

* The charger charges quickly but it is unique to Asus and no iPad chargers (2.1A) will charge the transformer faster than a trickle rate.

With the dock, this tablet makes a very nice travel laptop replacement with amazing battery life.

thickness

The Prime’s new keyboard dock is thinner than the original’s (.4 inches thick versus .5), but the experience remains relatively unchanged.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime 32 GB, Champange | Rated 82% by by The Verge (Dec, 2011)
Measuring 0.31 inches thick and weighing just 1.29 pounds, the Prime is now one of the thinnest tablets on the market.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is thin, but its glossy, white plastic back isn’t what I’d really consider to be a real eye-pleaser.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime 32 GB, Champange | Rated 82% by by The Verge (Dec, 2011)

size

As the chart above indicates, the size and weight difference between the Prime and the iPad 2 is minimal, and that’s exactly how I’d describe holding one in each hand; I really couldn’t feel a difference.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime 32 GB, Champange | Rated 82% by by The Verge (Dec, 2011)
I also didn’t notice much of a difference when it came to multitasking — it didn’t have a problem running multiple apps, but I didn’t notice a speed increase between the Prime and the original Transformer under heavy loads.
