The ET5 series sees the company continue the good work of previous years with LED-backlit IPS panels, said to enjoy a wider off-axis than some other LCD designs.

To anyone looking for a TV for under $1000 I would highly recommend this and feel like it's a solid purchase even if it didn't contain 3D but getting the addition of 3D is a nice bonus.

The other big surprise is passive 3D, which is essentially an LG technology; Panasonic was one of the first companies to embrace and champion active technology.

Blu-Ray movies look okay but Samsung or Panasonic sets blow this out of the water.

There is little, if any, difference in quality among the three and the price was a little cheaper for the Panasonic which included Internet and 3D (although I doubt I will use either feature much).

The picture quality on this TV is light years ahead of our old TV.

Best Picture quality even on non HD channels, HD Looks amazing and even the 3D is not bad even though I never watched a full movie with 3D feature on.

I've read quite a few reviews regarding the sound quality but I can honestly say that the sound from the stock speakers are pretty good.
