Gaming on this size screen is not what I would consider ideal, I would pretty much say that a 40" should suffice.

I know this because I when I turned the tv on later in the day I was greated with a 6" wide vertical white stripe and a 6" horizontal black stripe both of which ran the entire length of the screen and at whose intersection was a black impression about the size of an old 4 wood that he was seen carrying earlier that day.

The stand is pretty solid and heavy, the base on mine was actually a brushed silver metal rather than black like I was expecting.

I sit 13ft away from the screen and I love the picture, and now I have a TV that is the perfect size for my room.

Picture is outstanding out of the box with a few personal tweaks, colors bright and warm, blacks are rich and depth of picture beautiful in 2d.

When we didn't have our soundbar hooked up, it was just really nice sound- not at all flat like you would expect from a television that thin.

I have a Sony LCD upstairs in my bedroom and there is absolutely no comparison between the plasma and the LCD.

The TV recognizes when the 3D glasses are synced and an alert pops up on the screen stating, "3D Glasses are now connected.

I have it in a room full of windows, and the picture is still clear, and bright with very deep color.

It's strange to see reviews on the web which laud the Sony and only give this TV above average marks... I have to say when I got this turned on I was stunned by how good the quality of colors and the depth of blacks were.
