I did a TON of research before my purchase, weighing the Pros/Cons of Plasma vs. LCD vs. LED, price, picture quality, number of HDMI ports, 3D, internet capability, 720p vs. 1080p, etc..

Picture is top quality even though we have 14 foot windows facing west and south which get late afternoon sun (part of reason for going with LCD and not plasma for this room).

I've previously had a Sony XBR3 (circa 2008), and I would say that the size of the Sony XBR and the other older TV versions makes the screen bigger.

There is no denying that this TV looks beautiful with it's thin edge and it's slim design makes it look fantastic when you out it on the wall.

I use a surround system anyway, but there was a time where my speakers were not hooked up (after I moved) and the speakers are too quiet at 10W.

It's easier and more efficient to hook up my laptop to it than to use the browser.
