Rated 80% by by c|net (Aug, 2010)Via HDMI the XVT3 performed as well as any 1080p display should, resolving every line of a 1,920x1,080-pixel source with crisp details and no overscan.
Rated 100% by by 2KJ73 (Jan, 2012)As for the picture, once the picture settings were adjusted (good settings for this TV are all over the internet), and I turned it to a high def channel (using a good HDMI cable-Monster HDMI cable reg $39 for $10 at Wal-Mar), I was blown away!

LED-backlit
Rated 79% by by c|net (Apr, 2010)The 55-incher's 5 HDMI inputs (the 47-inch model has four) trump the competition, for what it's worth.

XVT Series by rod (Feb, 2011)The picture is the BEST, very EZ set up, screen perfect for me in size, and most of all.....my wife loves it!!!!!Buy one of this model from the many picture sizes available and you will be as happy as I am.

thickness
XVT Series by sbenisch (Jan, 2011)Perfect depth and variety and accuracy of colors, with the blacks being smooth and silky and deep.
