Here at Sortable, we’ve been keeping a close eye on the effects the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the markets, but more importantly to us — on our publishers. Like many other companies in our area, and across the globe, we’ve been looking for a way to help! In our search for the best way, we began a discussion with our friends over at Digiday.
“At Digiday Media, part of our current mission is to help support publishers who have seen their business models upended by the coronavirus. To do so, we are bringing together a coalition of our partners who have created resources or special offers for these uncertain times to help publishers get by until we’re all out of this together,” says David Amrani, Chief Strategy Officer at Digiday Media.
We’ve been working diligently with our current clients to make sure that they have all the tools they need to minimize the impacts of COVID-19, but we wanted to do more, for more publishers. That’s why we’re happy to say we’re joining that coalition of partners by offering a way for more publishers to weather the storm.
For the months of May and June, Sortable will be offering new clients 50% off our revenue share, for 60 days. We’re excited to find a way that we can give back to publishers who are trying to survive during hard times.
“We are publishers first,” says Christopher Reid, Founder and CEO here at Sortable. “We know just how big of an impact this pandemic is having on your business, and that some publishers are really suffering. We’ve always been publisher focused, and this just felt like another way we could stay centred on what matters the most.”
In order to make sure that we’re the best partner for new businesses, we have some criteria that publishers will need to meet in order to take advantage of the promotion:
- Approximately one (1) million monthly page views
- Traffic from multiple sources (paid traffic, organic traffic, traffic from social media etc.)
- At least three (3) months of traffic history, readily available
Not sure you meet all the criteria, but you’re pretty close? We still want to hear from you! We’re dedicated to publisher success and have many tips and tricks that can be useful to publishers that may not meet the current criteria yet, to help you get across that finish line. We’re also keeping publishers up to date with current industry trends to help them make informed decisions to maximize their business.
“The main thing is, we’re all in this together. We want to be here for publishers in a way that has an identifiable and measurable impact on their business, and we’re excited to help in any way that we can,” says Reid.
Many thanks to our partners over at Digiday for doing a lot of the leg work and getting together partners to help out the industry, and we look forward to hearing from you!
