Startups and Beer is back Sept. 22 for a night of community, connection and craft brews

What do tech startups, craft brew and a former auto garage have in common?

They'll be the featured elements of the next Startups and Beer on Thursday, September 22, a free, tech-community initiative.

The popular series features rotating partners who leave their offices to engage the community in the heart of the city in a relaxed and casual environment. It also showcases distinctive spaces not usually open to the public.

From 5pm to 9pm, join organizations Sortable, Text Now, Miovision, Cognitive Systems, and startup incubator Velocity in downtown Kitchener, we'll be taking over the now closed Schlichter's Garage across the street from the Charles Street transit terminal for a night of community, connection, and craft ale. Discover, chat to and sample local breweries Innocente, Together We're Bitter Co-operative Brewing, Stone Hammer, KW Cider and Collective Arts.

Featured community partner Women's Crisis Services will be onsite, and taking donations of much needed fall materials, including back to school children's clothing, lunch supplies and school supplies. View the full list here.

Our last Statups and Beer sold out, so get your tickets today.
